1991 desert storm ops, 4 american F14 met 4 irakian Mirage 2000 2 american down ..2 others running away calling for help. 2 french mirage 2000 arrived shot down the 4 irakian. the 2 french pilots invited to spend sometime in the best of american pilot school, they came back in France, and said it was common french training school style. Since french and american cooperated actively and french instructors teach in american fighting school.
