Watching this , I had the idea that if David turned out the light behind him and wearing that black top , you would end up with a Canadian version of Holly from Red dwarf.
I know its not much to add but as I have just come home from a night shift, my mind is not exactly wired correctly at the moment due to a very tedious night at work. I will also no doubt face hell by my girlfriend for using her youtube account to write this.

How come every time the Atlantis expedition finds a new planet, there's only like 1 tiny village or 1 city near the stargate on the WHOLE planet? Assuming they would need to be near Earth-sized to sustain life, that seems odd. And then when they scan the planet for life signs in a jumper, it takes like 2 or 3 hours to scan the whole planet.
its cuz when the population gets to a certain size or tech level they get culled. Its like we wait til the cow is fat/big enough and its steak for everyone!
Yay! And here I'd thought you'd given up on that idea--shame on me for doubting you! ... I motsly agree that those are the best McKay lines from those eps, but I have to admit I like this one from "The Seer" a *little* better: "I wouldn't have even noticed, except ... well ... you know, I'm ... really good." Doppleganger was my favorite so far this year. Loved McKay's "I thought there would be more hot girls", but I also liked Sheppard's "I hate clowns".

How come every time the Atlantis expedition finds a new planet, there's only like 1 tiny village or 1 city near the stargate on the WHOLE planet? Assuming they would need to be near Earth-sized to sustain life, that seems odd. And then when they scan the planet for life signs in a jumper, it takes like 2 or 3 hours to scan the whole planet.

Yay! And here I'd thought you'd given up on that idea--shame on me for doubting you! ... I motsly agree that those are the best McKay lines from those eps, but I have to admit I like this one from "The Seer" a *little* better: "I wouldn't have even noticed, except ... well ... you know, I'm ... really good." Your delivery on that one was *perfect*! No best line from Miller's Crossing, though?? You did the the first 2 before their eps aired! *pout* Maybe tomorrow?

the show didnt air because of the thanksgiving holiday, scifi channel wanted to air marathons of ghost hunters, atlantis, and star trek: enterprise. i was mad too when the sci fi channel did that.

No need to be shameful or red-faced... anyone wondering why you aren't posting as much on the internet of late hasn't experienced the first few months of new parenthood.
Great collection of favorite lines - get some sleep in where ya can. And the internet will still be here when you finally achieve that point where you can both parent and interact with the rest of the world! :)
