Sadly The Soviet Union Collapsed into 15 countries in 1991 :(( But We Will Rise again and overthrow the CApitalist Bourgeois !!!!!
@Johnnyaka45 Yes Comrade, the Sovetskii Soyuz was at one time a great superpower - until Gorbachev inadvertadly destroyed it with his perestroika and glasnost. If CCCP comes back, make it without a Stalin-Stalin may have brought Russia into 20th century, but he did it with such brutality and atrocities that Hitler pales in comparison. Hitler murdered 20 million people; Stalin murdered 160 million-of his own people. He was paranoid and a despot. bring it a moderate like Andropov.
@59Skott 160 million? The number gets higher every time I read it XD. Have a good look at some well researched data. The highest I ever saw quoted was 20 million by Robert Conquest's modern archival influenced revisions. Most researchers however seem to estimate 10 to 15, including the famine. My own calculations using the data from Wikipedia's "Soviet Demographics" page has given me a figure of about 12 million including natural deaths, excluding deaths due to the second world war.
@Scientisticsoviet Tovarishch, Did you also include his Blood Purges of the 1930's and beyond? I did mistake the number it is 40 million-not 160. This figure comes from former sealed KGB Archives. Stalin out do Hitler when it comes to mass murder. I am not condoning what fascists did-by any means. I grow up in DDR and know of many things; my grandfather first work in NKVD then work in MfS and he knew of Stalin's crimes.
@59Skott The purges from the late 1930s are actually a small number from what I remember; The biggest contributor is the famine in 1932.
But once again your 40 million figure only makes sense if you include WWII (25 million deaths). I'll send you a private message on the matter, so as not to clog this message board.
Agree that fuck stalin and lenin, cuz they are jew ass lickers who paid them to make the revolution. And ofcourse Lithuania isn't equal to Russia. Look at you and look at them :D :D haha, to be honest, but not rude, i don't know anything about lithuanians(i know about them alot, but didn't hear about) for example that they have done something great, or a famous lithuanian man that every world knows him or just something in the past. That's quite sad.
Political musings: regarding hatred of Communism: I wonder how many people capitalism has been responsible for the deaths over over the years? Not perhaps always deliberately, just out of the sheer indifference to the individual inherent in the system. People have freedom under "democracy", they say; freedom to do what? Buy stuff they don't need in supermarkets (made, more often than not, in China or India for pittance wages) and buy a new car each year. All on credit, of course.
@AndreiTupolev I understand what you mean but actual communism hasn't been acheived yet.Because everyone is supposed to be equal and the closest leader of communist countries was Vladimir Lenin. BTW i am capitalist but i don't hate communist.
@spanishldy Nope, British imperialism genocided many tribes in India and Southeast Asia, there was the potato famine, the innocents dead in the Vietnam/Iraq/Afghanistan wars, World War I was between capitalist powers, etc etc etc. In fact if you look at the countries that had communist revolutions its almost always a response to mass death caused by capitalism.
@ahuj89 I disagree. Look up the definition of capitalism. Russia did not have a capitalist economy before Communism. Britain was imperialist. For capitalism to survive it has to have a lot of freedom from government restrictions. All of these economies were intertwined with their governments. What they did was wrong but it was not true capitalism that caused all this grief. For Communism look up Stalin, Chairman Mao, Pol Pot ( I think) North Korea. Millions upon millions were killed.
@spanishldy You're being dishonest, like those who try to say the attempts at communism in the 20th cent. weren't "True Communism." Britain was a merchant-run capitalist country, same with America's Vietnam and Middle East wars which have killed just as much, the poverty and famine in Africa while their resources are plundered by corporations.
Capitalism is a mass murderer and while there were horrors and mistakes in the Soviet Union nobody needs your crocodile tears. TO COMMUNISM!
@ahuj89 I think wer'e going to have to agree to disagree. Africa could be a very wealthy continent if not for corrupt governments, constant wars, the list goes on. Capitalism can be blamed for some things but not for the poverty in Africa. It is communism that is the mass murderer. Millions and millions have been deliberately killed in the name of communism.
@spanishldy lol you realize the corrupt governments are backed by the world superpowers who need their resources right? Right now it's China/America/Brazil with S Korea getting in the imperialism game too. All the various asymmetrical armies with letter abbreviations are funded by someone who's funded by a superpower.
Right now the Congo is a prime example of this, it's absolutely Hell to live there and each side is hedging its bets. Imperialism is the highest stage of capitalism.
@ahuj89 Every country needs resources of some kind that they need to trade with others. Imperialism isn't capitalism. We are not exstending our rule on any country (I'll give you Iraq and Afghanistan). Britain was an imperialist country that to imposed their laws onto other nations. We have had many opportunities to impose our laws onto other govmts but haven't. People in China, India etc. are profiting from capitalism. Their standard of life is lower than ours but better with capitalism.
@spanishldy Actually wrong, the quality of life in the former Soviet satellite states hit a drop and stall that they haven't gotten out of, at one point Soviet life expectancy overtook the USA's, and both communist china and the USSR saw a huge spike in life expectancy right after the revolution even taking into account the costs of life of the revolutions.
Also the US is a neocolonial imperialist state. It had ~150 military bases all over the world to keep client states and neocolonies in line
@ahuj89 I havenever been to Russia but have visited former Communist controlled countries. The first time I went it was so depressing. No one smiled, talked etc. in public. It was depressing. However, every year that I have been back the people seem happier and friendlier. Yes they are still poor. Also most are afraid to try new things for fear of failure. That can be blamed on 70+ yrs. of oppression. US is a neocolonial,,, where do you come up with this?
@spanishldy America was getting a few defectors but so was the USSR and besides that there were revolutions of poor people taking control of their own lives rather than hoping they could "make it" somewhere else. Also places like Laos are degenerated communist countries and people smile all the time. You're just making baseless generalizations, focusing only on defectors to the West and people that smile AFTER some magical capitalist "freedom effect" has taken over.
@spanishldy Yes, furthermore capitalism is always, always, always going to bring catastrophe. We are seeing another Global Depression and as society gets more and more complex and specialized capitalism becomes more and more inefficient. We are seeing new apartheids and walled societies come forward, speculation on housing, intellectual property, etc becomes more fixed because production becomes problematic for the capitalist system, the environment is in disarray, etc. Something must be done.
@ahuj89 We have had plenty of opportunities to control other countries, but haven't. Instead we have helped them rebuild and given them back their freedom. Think back to ww2, were people fleeing to the East and Russia or West and to America? Capitalism does not bring catastrophe, corrupt of evil people in power can and often do.
@ahuj89 If communism is so great why don't you start practicing it in real life, Find some poor unfortunate and give him half of everything you have, then find another and do the same. That way at least there would be some equality for a time. My guess is that you would soon be less motivated to work and earn anything since you're giving at least half of your earnings to complete strangers. Communism is all about stifling the human spirit.
@spanishldy I do donate to good causes that further leftist struggles like RAWA but the idea that if one person independently gave up all his money to a poorer person it would fix anything is ridiculous and betrays a lack of understanding of how things work. You'd just make one person poor and others wealthier but the overarching system would still be in effect. To further the goals of communism you must take the means of production by any means and battle imperialism.
@ahuj89 Exactly, but that is what communism does. It beats down everyone but the few at the top. So you won't give up your wealth on your own but if the gov't takes it, it's ok. Who takes the means of production and how do they do it? Name one business that any government has run successfully and made a profit at it.
@spanishldy what top? whose wealth? the wealth is owned by the state which is the totality of society barring the state-sanctioned gray markets in times of trouble. Why should a government make a profit off of a government enterprise? Are you even thinking about what profit means or what its function is? In communist societies people work hard because they feel obligated to do their best for society? When a laborer is just as respected as a doctor and has actual benefits he works harder
@ahuj89 are you saying that everyone in Communist Russia was equal? That no one had more than the next person? How does the state get its wealth? Why is profit such an evil thing? If Communism was so great why couldn't Russia make it work? Take Cuba, it could be a playground for the worlds wealthy but instead it is the one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere. If the wealthy were going there, the locals would benefit financially.
@spanishldy lol Cuba already used to be the world's playground for the wealthy and it was living hell for the people, which was why it had a revolution in the first place! It was basically America's brothel.
As far as Russian communism goes it did achieve incredible things, life expectancy and quality of life shot up and it went from a backwater hellhole to a modern country competing with America, achieving in 15 years what took capitalist nations 100 to do, against all odds.
@ahuj89 when you say quality of life to whom are you referring? Did the Communist rulers stand in the bread lines along with everyone else and we just never had the privilege of seeing them? Or more likely they had the best of everything, so how is that equality? Life expectancy for the Russian male is atrocious somewhere in the 50s (last I heard). Cuba wasn't our brothel. The rich went there, spent their money on local hotels, restaurants, food, etc. Who benefitted? The Cuban entrepeneur.
@spanishldy lol that you would possibly defend life under Batista's Cuba says everything about your 'common knowledge' of what was and wasn't America's brothel. Cuba had endemic poverty, massive organized crime, no social services to speak of, and massive brutalization, more than Castro ever could do. They have been savaged by American trade sanctions (imperialism) and yet still the poor have quality healthcare and education. That you would possibly defend Batista over Castro says everything.
@ahuj89 I will admit that I haven't studied much about the Batista regime, but it sounds like Cuba traded a non-communist dictator for a communist one. Before communism they had the potential to change for the better. Now they have nothing. I also don't think that sanctions are the best way to deal with Cuba. We should. We should buy their cigars and whatever else they produce and flood their markets with our goods. You haven't answered my question yet about the bread lines in communist Europe.
@spanishldy Ah, well it's true that Krushchev sealed the Nomenklatura's fate as an 'upper class' of the USSR which is why most socialists see post-50s USSR as a 'degenerated worker's state' meaning that it was still nominally a worker's state and the Nomenklatura had to act like it, so even though the they would not wait for goods like everyone else they still had to distribute wealth more fairly than the US's political/business class. Many popular socialists today were dissidents back then.
@ahuj89 You wrote "so even though they would not wait for goods" why did they have to wait for something as essential as food? Except for the depression, Americans (as a whole) have never had to wait in line all day for food. And the wealth was never fairly distributed among everyone. There were always those at or close to the top who had more and a lot more. There was no incentive to work. And then there was the endless persecution and torture of the worker.
@spanishldy You realize that during the Depression there was mass starvation and poverty right? There WERE soup lines and millions starved to death. There are people budgeting their food stamps right now. You can't just 'except' that particularly since crises of overproduction are a regular inevitable fact of capitalism.
Who cares if people have to wait for food as long as everyone gets their fair share? Bread lines are always overexaggerated in Western propaganda anyway.
@ahuj89 I will agree that there was poverty but not mass starvation in the U.S. Millions of Americans did not starve to death during the depression but that did happen in the USSR. If people are on food stamps they should be budgeting and saving wherever they can. I am not paying taxes so that they can fritter away their food stamps. Who decides what is someone else's fair share? You? The govmnt? I like most people have better things to do than wait all day for a loaf of bread to feed a family.
@spanishldy If you use the same faulty methods of estimating death from famine that they apply to the Soviet Union and China then 7 million Americans died during the Great Depression. In any case it was over one million.
And people cannot save better because the capitalist system necessitates unemployment due to the fact that people are not compensated the exact value their labor is worth (since owners give themselves high salaries simply for owning something).
@ahuj89 You and I both know that no 7 million Americans died of starvation during the depression. Thousands of people die every day for any number of reasons. I'll give that 1 million died during the depression but not from starvation. Owners of businesess can pay themselves whatever they want, after all they are the ones who are taking the risk. People can't save because they don't want to or know how to. Capitalism does not need people to be unemployed.
@spanishldy thousands of people die everyday... -.- WOW. Have you actually take note of those africans that die of starvation because of exploitation from capitalist bastards?
Americans; the root of capitalism. Now, lets see how many of american people are living on the streets because of the capitalist treatment to the working class? How many are unemployed? How many are earning below their tax payable?
@spanishldy ok please dont jump out of the topic, so.. What makes you think capitalism only killed thousands of people? It not only killed thousands EVERYDAY, it killed the hopes of the people. Dictatorship, hmmph, its also happening in capitalist countries.. Now. One would be Singapore.. dictators much. Don't argue with me on that, coz i live in it.. A capitalist/fascist one party state.
@wirelessjunkhead In order for capitalism to succeed it needs to be free from govmnt restrictions. Dictaorships are not offering many freedoms for markets to succeed. What makes you think that capitalism killed thousands+ people? If cap. is so evil why do so many outsiders come to America and become successful? Maybe not millionaires but they are way better off now than in their own country? Why are people dying to come here not dying to leave? Cap offers hope and opportunity doesn't kill it.
@spanishldy Oh ok, if you are saying that my country is not successful, you are so so wrong. A capitalist economy with a dictative government.. Never heard of it? I am not wanting to comment so much because i am never going to convince you, neither are you going to convince me. A fact: america is dying... Debts unpayable by the government. The only ones who will suffer; the working class.
@wirelessjunkhead No am not saying that. You're right we're in trouble over here.
But not because of capitalism, it's too many years of irresponsible spending by our govmnt, taxes too high and now too much govnmt involement in the private sector. We can still get out of this but govnmt has to step aside and let the private sector do it's thing. If we go down everyone will suffer not just the rich.
@ahuj89 I just met a lady that has visited Cuba several times. What do you think she takes as gifts? Knives, butcher, pairing, etc. Years ago they were confiscated by the communist authorities. Guess they knew there would be no meat to butcher so why do the people need knives, unless the leaders were afraid. I had a professor that lived through Fidel coming into power and she had nothing good to say. Years later she still cried when talking about it. Nothing good comes from communism
@spanishldy Also you are making the same dishonest arguments about the system, that it was due to corruption or corrupt institutions or bad people. There is a broken system that encourages and perpetuates that type of greed, that allows that corruption, that lets those bad people succeed and loses control to them. The problem is not psychological, institutional, or cultural, it is SYSTEMIC. And that SYSTEM is capitalism and must come to an end.
@ahuj89 There will always be the poor, the rich, and the middle class. In a capitalist society there are opportunities for everyone to better their individual lives. It takes hard work but it can be done. In a communist society, technically no one can have more than the next person so what;s the point of trying to better your own life if others don't want to?
@MaRaX93 No, as a matter of fact a few minutes of simple desk research would demonstrate to you that mainstream historians accept a figure somewhere between 25 and 60 million people murdered by the Soviet Union alone. I was attempting to supply you with an example, but unfortunately Youtube's comment facility has an unaccountable aversion to URLs. Nevertheless, that's the trouble with this internet thing, you see: it makes it so much more difficult to lie to people's faces.
@MaRaX93 No, I'm afraid I'm neither stupid nor American; congratulations on continuing your clean sweep of getting everything you've written here wrong. Moreover, a meaningless cliché doesn't change that I was referring to the research of mainstream historians; you know, the sort who go through peer review processes and actually take some care over what they present. Have you a source suggesting something different, or is baseless sniping the limit of your capacity to argue?
@lordrosemount which historians exactly? and tell me where did all these millions of people die? i happen to know a historian with a PhD and his specialty is the ussr.and you know what?half of the "facts" mainstream historians present are either plain guesses or based on witnesses paid to lie...
@TheKillerK15 Were you not such a cretinous runt, you would doubtless have responded to my post with some reasoned argumentation; as it is, I have to tell you that you're wrong on all three accounts, as I am neither ignorant, nor American, nor have I indulged in the activity to which you refer. You can't even frame a decent insult, you loathed issue of an unknown father's loins.
@lordrosemount Don't say shit. The USSR murdered no one, Stalin did. You're silly, you can't even see the difference between a bad ruler and the people of a nation. Stalin killed around 15 millions men, but doesn't mean that russians are "bad", brainwashed american.
Well, i can't say that you're wrong, but thbe Soviet Union was not bad at all. The responsibles for the fall of the country were Brezhnev, that shattered the economy and Gorbachev, a corrupt politicuan that only served the West.
The first time I heard this Anthem was the 1972 Canada and Russian series.. It has to be the most powerful Anthem I have ever heard.. I loved it the first time heard it.. amazing !!!
Long live our Soviet Motherland, Built by the people's mighty hand. Long live our People , united and free. Strong in our friendship tried by fire. Long mayour crimson flag inspire, Shinny in glory for all men to see.
My friend, I have long since been a supporter of the Palestinian people adn their cause, yet I am a Socialist. The PLO, started as a Socialist organization, why do you believe Socialism will always be a slave to the Zionist entity? Socialism will never be a slave, this is the whole point. The working class of Israel is just as much a slave as th entire Palestinian people, they are the same! Only when the Palestnians and the working class Israelis see this will there be peace!
i cant go supporting communism but this is a beautiful anthem, unlike the damn US anthem always being ruined by terrible singers taking too much artistic liberty while they sing it in there terrible nasally voices. fuck i hate this country... but not capitalism
yes its true er must not be a leader in te sovjet-union but it wasent the people have the vote for it but ther was only 1 party end beacase er was 1 party the cannot vote for anoter one. end the have no ting to be mad alrigt Stalin wasn't a good leader it deastroyd the USSR. end also its a beatiful song for the motherland !!!
That part also is where the instruments at the front (herald trumpets, trumpets, trombones and French horns) are raised on the second line of the chorus during the last repetition of it.
i like this anthem it has very much power every time you listnen this you think you have all the power you need i love it

It had ~150 military bases all over the world to keep client states and neocolonies in line
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 I havenever been to Russia but have visited former Communist controlled countries. The first time I went it was so depressing. No one smiled, talked etc. in public. It was depressing. However, every year that I have been back the people seem happier and friendlier. Yes they are still poor. Also most are afraid to try new things for fear of failure. That can be blamed on 70+ yrs. of oppression. US is a neocolonial,,, where do you come up with this?
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy America was getting a few defectors but so was the USSR and besides that there were revolutions of poor people taking control of their own lives rather than hoping they could "make it" somewhere else. Also places like Laos are degenerated communist countries and people smile all the time. You're just making baseless generalizations, focusing only on defectors to the West and people that smile AFTER some magical capitalist "freedom effect" has taken over.
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 Do you really believe that communism is a better form of government and less harmful than capitalism?
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy Yes, furthermore capitalism is always, always, always going to bring catastrophe. We are seeing another Global Depression and as society gets more and more complex and specialized capitalism becomes more and more inefficient. We are seeing new apartheids and walled societies come forward, speculation on housing, intellectual property, etc becomes more fixed because production becomes problematic for the capitalist system, the environment is in disarray, etc. Something must be done.
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 We have had plenty of opportunities to control other countries, but haven't. Instead we have helped them rebuild and given them back their freedom. Think back to ww2, were people fleeing to the East and Russia or West and to America? Capitalism does not bring catastrophe, corrupt of evil people in power can and often do.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@ahuj89 If communism is so great why don't you start practicing it in real life, Find some poor unfortunate and give him half of everything you have, then find another and do the same. That way at least there would be some equality for a time. My guess is that you would soon be less motivated to work and earn anything since you're giving at least half of your earnings to complete strangers. Communism is all about stifling the human spirit.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy I do donate to good causes that further leftist struggles like RAWA but the idea that if one person independently gave up all his money to a poorer person it would fix anything is ridiculous and betrays a lack of understanding of how things work. You'd just make one person poor and others wealthier but the overarching system would still be in effect. To further the goals of communism you must take the means of production by any means and battle imperialism.
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 Exactly, but that is what communism does. It beats down everyone but the few at the top. So you won't give up your wealth on your own but if the gov't takes it, it's ok. Who takes the means of production and how do they do it? Name one business that any government has run successfully and made a profit at it.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy what top? whose wealth? the wealth is owned by the state which is the totality of society barring the state-sanctioned gray markets in times of trouble. Why should a government make a profit off of a government enterprise? Are you even thinking about what profit means or what its function is? In communist societies people work hard because they feel obligated to do their best for society? When a laborer is just as respected as a doctor and has actual benefits he works harder
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 are you saying that everyone in Communist Russia was equal? That no one had more than the next person? How does the state get its wealth? Why is profit such an evil thing? If Communism was so great why couldn't Russia make it work? Take Cuba, it could be a playground for the worlds wealthy but instead it is the one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere. If the wealthy were going there, the locals would benefit financially.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy lol Cuba already used to be the world's playground for the wealthy and it was living hell for the people, which was why it had a revolution in the first place! It was basically America's brothel.
As far as Russian communism goes it did achieve incredible things, life expectancy and quality of life shot up and it went from a backwater hellhole to a modern country competing with America, achieving in 15 years what took capitalist nations 100 to do, against all odds.
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 when you say quality of life to whom are you referring? Did the Communist rulers stand in the bread lines along with everyone else and we just never had the privilege of seeing them? Or more likely they had the best of everything, so how is that equality? Life expectancy for the Russian male is atrocious somewhere in the 50s (last I heard). Cuba wasn't our brothel. The rich went there, spent their money on local hotels, restaurants, food, etc. Who benefitted? The Cuban entrepeneur.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy lol that you would possibly defend life under Batista's Cuba says everything about your 'common knowledge' of what was and wasn't America's brothel. Cuba had endemic poverty, massive organized crime, no social services to speak of, and massive brutalization, more than Castro ever could do. They have been savaged by American trade sanctions (imperialism) and yet still the poor have quality healthcare and education. That you would possibly defend Batista over Castro says everything.
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 I will admit that I haven't studied much about the Batista regime, but it sounds like Cuba traded a non-communist dictator for a communist one. Before communism they had the potential to change for the better. Now they have nothing. I also don't think that sanctions are the best way to deal with Cuba. We should. We should buy their cigars and whatever else they produce and flood their markets with our goods. You haven't answered my question yet about the bread lines in communist Europe.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy Ah, well it's true that Krushchev sealed the Nomenklatura's fate as an 'upper class' of the USSR which is why most socialists see post-50s USSR as a 'degenerated worker's state' meaning that it was still nominally a worker's state and the Nomenklatura had to act like it, so even though the they would not wait for goods like everyone else they still had to distribute wealth more fairly than the US's political/business class. Many popular socialists today were dissidents back then.
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 You wrote "so even though they would not wait for goods" why did they have to wait for something as essential as food? Except for the depression, Americans (as a whole) have never had to wait in line all day for food. And the wealth was never fairly distributed among everyone. There were always those at or close to the top who had more and a lot more. There was no incentive to work. And then there was the endless persecution and torture of the worker.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy You realize that during the Depression there was mass starvation and poverty right? There WERE soup lines and millions starved to death. There are people budgeting their food stamps right now. You can't just 'except' that particularly since crises of overproduction are a regular inevitable fact of capitalism.
Who cares if people have to wait for food as long as everyone gets their fair share? Bread lines are always overexaggerated in Western propaganda anyway.
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 I will agree that there was poverty but not mass starvation in the U.S. Millions of Americans did not starve to death during the depression but that did happen in the USSR. If people are on food stamps they should be budgeting and saving wherever they can. I am not paying taxes so that they can fritter away their food stamps. Who decides what is someone else's fair share? You? The govmnt? I like most people have better things to do than wait all day for a loaf of bread to feed a family.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy If you use the same faulty methods of estimating death from famine that they apply to the Soviet Union and China then 7 million Americans died during the Great Depression. In any case it was over one million.
And people cannot save better because the capitalist system necessitates unemployment due to the fact that people are not compensated the exact value their labor is worth (since owners give themselves high salaries simply for owning something).
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 You and I both know that no 7 million Americans died of starvation during the depression. Thousands of people die every day for any number of reasons. I'll give that 1 million died during the depression but not from starvation. Owners of businesess can pay themselves whatever they want, after all they are the ones who are taking the risk. People can't save because they don't want to or know how to. Capitalism does not need people to be unemployed.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy thousands of people die everyday... -.- WOW. Have you actually take note of those africans that die of starvation because of exploitation from capitalist bastards?
Americans; the root of capitalism. Now, lets see how many of american people are living on the streets because of the capitalist treatment to the working class? How many are unemployed? How many are earning below their tax payable?
wirelessjunkhead 1 year ago
@wirelessjunkhead Don't think that it's due to exploitation by capitalism as much as ruthless dictaors, endless wars and oppression.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy ok please dont jump out of the topic, so.. What makes you think capitalism only killed thousands of people? It not only killed thousands EVERYDAY, it killed the hopes of the people. Dictatorship, hmmph, its also happening in capitalist countries.. Now. One would be Singapore.. dictators much. Don't argue with me on that, coz i live in it.. A capitalist/fascist one party state.
wirelessjunkhead 1 year ago
@wirelessjunkhead In order for capitalism to succeed it needs to be free from govmnt restrictions. Dictaorships are not offering many freedoms for markets to succeed. What makes you think that capitalism killed thousands+ people? If cap. is so evil why do so many outsiders come to America and become successful? Maybe not millionaires but they are way better off now than in their own country? Why are people dying to come here not dying to leave? Cap offers hope and opportunity doesn't kill it.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy Oh ok, if you are saying that my country is not successful, you are so so wrong. A capitalist economy with a dictative government.. Never heard of it? I am not wanting to comment so much because i am never going to convince you, neither are you going to convince me. A fact: america is dying... Debts unpayable by the government. The only ones who will suffer; the working class.
wirelessjunkhead 1 year ago
@wirelessjunkhead No am not saying that. You're right we're in trouble over here.
But not because of capitalism, it's too many years of irresponsible spending by our govmnt, taxes too high and now too much govnmt involement in the private sector. We can still get out of this but govnmt has to step aside and let the private sector do it's thing. If we go down everyone will suffer not just the rich.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy Obviously the rich wont suffer.. It would be the poor who will.
wirelessjunkhead 1 year ago
@wirelessjunkhead Where do you get the idea that the rich won't suffer? Oops meant to say poor in the last post.

Nothing good comes from communism
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy Thousands of good comes from it
TheKillerK15 1 year ago
@ahuj89 Btw, what is RAWA? You said it is a leftist group and that info scares me.
spanishldy 1 year ago
@spanishldy Also you are making the same dishonest arguments about the system, that it was due to corruption or corrupt institutions or bad people. There is a broken system that encourages and perpetuates that type of greed, that allows that corruption, that lets those bad people succeed and loses control to them. The problem is not psychological, institutional, or cultural, it is SYSTEMIC. And that SYSTEM is capitalism and must come to an end.
ahuj89 1 year ago
@ahuj89 There will always be the poor, the rich, and the middle class. In a capitalist society there are opportunities for everyone to better their individual lives. It takes hard work but it can be done. In a communist society, technically no one can have more than the next person so what;s the point of trying to better your own life if others don't want to?

MaRaX93 1 year ago
@MaRaX93 No, as a matter of fact a few minutes of simple desk research would demonstrate to you that mainstream historians accept a figure somewhere between 25 and 60 million people murdered by the Soviet Union alone. I was attempting to supply you with an example, but unfortunately Youtube's comment facility has an unaccountable aversion to URLs. Nevertheless, that's the trouble with this internet thing, you see: it makes it so much more difficult to lie to people's faces.
lordrosemount 1 year ago
@lordrosemount the victor always writes history...i bet you're a stupid american,so your sources are probably...not that reliable
MaRaX93 1 year ago
@MaRaX93 No, I'm afraid I'm neither stupid nor American; congratulations on continuing your clean sweep of getting everything you've written here wrong. Moreover, a meaningless cliché doesn't change that I was referring to the research of mainstream historians; you know, the sort who go through peer review processes and actually take some care over what they present. Have you a source suggesting something different, or is baseless sniping the limit of your capacity to argue?
lordrosemount 1 year ago
@lordrosemount which historians exactly? and tell me where did all these millions of people die? i happen to know a historian with a PhD and his specialty is the ussr.and you know what?half of the "facts" mainstream historians present are either plain guesses or based on witnesses paid to lie...

@TheKillerK15 Were you not such a cretinous runt, you would doubtless have responded to my post with some reasoned argumentation; as it is, I have to tell you that you're wrong on all three accounts, as I am neither ignorant, nor American, nor have I indulged in the activity to which you refer. You can't even frame a decent insult, you loathed issue of an unknown father's loins.
lordrosemount 1 year ago
@lordrosemount Don't say shit. The USSR murdered no one, Stalin did. You're silly, you can't even see the difference between a bad ruler and the people of a nation. Stalin killed around 15 millions men, but doesn't mean that russians are "bad", brainwashed american.

That part also is where the instruments at the front (herald trumpets, trumpets, trombones and French horns) are raised on the second line of the chorus during the last repetition of it.
jmramos0109 2 years ago 2
The last measure of the anthem-which is from lines 1 to the last of the chorus has a fanfare that is great.
It uses Russian herald trumpets, which intertwines with the instruments on the last repetition of the chorus. (Military Band version)
