  • Great video! Obviously I am not the author of this video but ive heard of people starting cultures with older kombucha you can buy from the store. Dont really know how accurate that is, i just started this project. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will correct me.

  • @MrFlavum thanks for commenting. Depending on the type of kombucha you get it may be possible. For example, no juice or other flavorings, it cannot be pasteurized, and it cannot be reformulated to grow a real Kombucha SCOBY. It's confusing for newbies.

If u r buying Kombucha from the store, you will save more money buying a culture than waiting to grow your own which takes 3-5 weeks and fails too often. A fresh culture from Kombucha Kamp is only $25 and provides a lifetime supply of Kombucha.

  • What type of culture do you use and where do you get it? Thanks in advance.

  • @misterdude718 hey u can get a fresh full sized culture at our store. just visit our site Kombucha Kamp at the link underneath the video and you will see a link to buy guaranteed kombucha cultures. Thanks for asking. :)
