I have an 11month old daughter and she is goin through a stage where she just wants to be up, i brough a sling yeah its ok but it kills my neck sometimes and i have been working out in the garden the past few days and with her in the sling on me... works but then it dont work...
Do you think i could make my own and she could still go in it?

I would like to see how you make one of these. I have seen similar wraps online and they are pretty pricey. These wraps seem to be very useful for busy moms. I am expecting my 2nd baby in Sept and I get overwhelmed just thinking about going to the store with a newborn and a toddler. Something like this would help out tremendously!!! Just a question.....after wearing it for a few hours with the baby in it, does your back start to hurt like some other carriers?

I bought a one of the other sorts with my son (the "normal" kind) and it dug into my shoulders so after maybe 4 uses i slapped it on ebay- after we paid over $100 for it!!!

It wouldn't break your back, no. But at that age and weight, they are going to be pulling down and pretty saggy with a stretch wrap.
Try a woven cotton wrap instead. Same idea, but a diff material for a heavier baby. I suggest woven after 6 months.
