hey man great vid i was wondering if you could get a mad truck r/c car and do a demo for it i have one and mine is not running as fast as i should be and other complications.
Hey nice video... I have a question what kind of fuel did you use and where did you find it. Have starter kit, really want to run it, but don't have fuel. Need HELP
So I threw my con rod due to carb wide open. Cannot find cxp con rod, and want to put a new engine on it. What do you recommend? Sh 18, HPI, etc? Looking for and engine easy to fit on this. Thanks!
i have two queations 1st how long can i use my nitro car before it starts to over heat and 2nd can i put any unused fuel back into my fuel gallon thanks
@aaronibarra400, your Nitro car is just a smaller version of a bigger engine, so you can not "overheat" your car. The fuel and air from driving cool your cars engine, and once the fuel is gone, the engine will stop and so will the car. -- You should not mix unused fuel with new fuel. Once the fuel has been inside the tank, it may have some small particles of dust/dirt, which you dont want mixed with new fuel. Dont leave fuel in your car for more than about a day.Just turn the car over and dump
Hi @Kpilot786457, normally you can break your Nitro car in with about 3 - 4 tanks of fuel. The first tank you will run the car in idle, and not drive it. Let the car run the first tank of Nitro until it is out of fuel. Refuel the car, then do some moderate driving, but not too fast. Keep in mind that the Nitro fuel for your car is also its oil, so you want to get the fuel/oil in to all of the engines parts before you really let loose, which takes about 4 tanks of fuel of moderate driving...
you say you dont want fuel in your mouth, well your blowig not sucking the tube so you wont get fuel in your mouth i never have and ive done the method i said many of times.
also why dont you just take fuel line pip that goes to exhaust and bow to get fuel to carb?
lot easier and saves your pull start from getting broken and getting used so much casue i know pull starts can be a right hassle.
also if your using a race enine without pull start some people starter boxe etc to getfuel to carb using the method to blow the fuel to carb saves your battery power.
@Jenbufton18 The fuel is Blue Thunder racing formula. It is 20% nitro. I don't take off the line because 1) It is hard to get it off of my car and than back on it 2) I don't want to get any nitro fuel in my mouth haha. Haha ya i like to prime it this way but if it works for you to blow in the line, then go for it
reverse?
