I think Catherine Hardwicke is great! I saw her being interviewed in a documentary I recently watched, Finding Joe. It is a great documentary focused on the beliefs of Joseph Campbell. Many different people are interviewed throughout the film, giving their take on how Campbell has personally inspired them to better their own lives. It was so interesting to watch! She RUINED twilight. she cut almost everything out that was important and deleted scenes that shouldn't be deleted. i hate this woman. she completely ruined the movie. COMPLETELY.

Catherine did a great job and i don't see how anyone thinks she did a bad job. its not her fault that the person who wrote the script didn't do a good job. She did the best she could with what she had to work with.

i rather have them not create twilight into film yet, because im sure they could of would of found someone better to do the movie i think the first film was completely ruined. They didnt do most of the scenes right at all i still say twilight kinda sucked the actors did good, it was just the way the movie turned out what made it sucked..just a downer ! new moon has to be better then the first or the whole production will just suck.

I dont think she did a bad job at all, the reason she jumped from scene to scene was because she had to keep the movie going, yeah I hated that too but thats how all book turned movies are going to be.
But you have to give her credit, she took a low budget movie and turned to the best of her abilities.
Visualize, I think the movie was great and I cant complain about that, but the other stuff she couldn't help. I love what she did.

I hope the new guy (and it seems he is - and does get it) will keep it primarily about the story/the romance/angst. I ony got into this b/c everyone kept telling me to see the film and now I'm addicted. The new director made it clear he's Team Edward and that it's important. So win.

I think Catherine did a great job! Peaople are always comparing the books with the movies and thats right but I mean it's clearly that the movies never be exactly the same like the book. Since Harry Potter the people are criticizing that, but come om guys, just ease into that 'cause it'll never change! The movie was fantastic!
I'm so commiserate about Catherine is not going to direct New Moon, but I really hope the guy is making a good job, like Catherine did.

I think that this would have been hard for anyone to make, and she did an ok job. I wasn't really happy with a couple of the things that she did and am excited to see what the new director is going to do.

Totally agree! She made a shit movie out of a great book. What a waste. In some scenes I even started to blush and laugh. If I'm not mistaken, it's another dircetor for the sequel so I'm hoping för the best =D

The director is the guy who directed american pie and golden compass.. haha we are going to have very High Definition porn movie :) but I know stephenie knows what she is doing. And this guy will make it good. the only problem is, if he reads the books, he can never understand it in a female's perspective (Bella) because he was never a female teenager. So the feeling will be quite different. He does have Stephenie by his side, so we shall see...

Its because of all our support :D So, lets home New Moon is more high tech :D As long as they stick with the books, I do not care how low budget they are (too a certain point, of course).. anyways to me it didnt look lik ehe was sweating, it was the twinkling sound effects that were very "corny" :D They didnt necessarily have to put that in to show he was shining

RobertPattinsonxoxo - i read in walmart (haha) that she actually got cut not only bc she thought there was too little time to film new moon but bc she was not listening to what everyone else wanted to say. At one point Robert would give suggestions and she would disagree with everything. She was becoming too stubborn apparently. but one thing i didnt get is that she was drifting away from the original books and stephanie did not like it? But that sentence was little confusing (mag: Life & style)
