HELP! The inside of the end of my lead looks different to yours! To describe it in my best words, They are just two wires (without rubber tubes on the outside) connected from the lead's wire to the actual plugin. Do I still put the two wires around each of them wires?
thx a lot man! i didnt even have to pay a dime! I just took the kill switch from my broken distortion pedal in the battery slot and soldered the wire to the input jack! It took my well around an hour just to find some wire (which i used from the adapter to the distortion pedal) and melt the wires together, but it came out perfectly! Btw, it was my first time soldering. I didnt have to drill a hole in my guitar (ibanez rgexfm1) so it was perfect. Great for just getting that killswitch sound!5/5
Btw , You DONT need exaxly that button , If you want to save a buck or two , you just need a momentary push-button , it will do the same thing and you will save a little
dude ur helping me alot but wat kind of wire all i see is conducter speaker wire, wrapping wire ,hook up wire and also magnet wire set which one help me please! or juss tell me wich one u got

hack job....do it right and do it internally, it dont look retarded and you dont have that nasty cable danglin there.
mazdarattiman 2 years ago
Get the round switch, looks better and it's got a bigger surface area so you can use 2 or 3 fingers.

do you have to have that specific button?

You can also use the wire that are in headsets, its really thin, so it will look less bulky, haa.

I just wish your hands were caressing my ass cheeks, and you were ramming your rod so deep into my butthole, violating my soul
Thegearsofwar2268 3 years ago
you don`t need wire that thick! you can screw the plug back together if you use thinner wire.

it's a normally off button and when you press it, it kills the signal. Hence killswitch
hodgy26 3 years ago
so,is this a 'normally-on' or 'normally-off' button? which means, ur guitar allows signal (have sound) when the button is not pressed, and vice versa.
afie83 3 years ago
a normally on button. thats what im using
zcaisse2876 3 years ago
Any type of speaker wire works. And yes you dont have to use the same button but it is like 2 dollars at radio shack and it gets the job done
hodgy26 3 years ago
i miight steal one of them at school
