My my, to think I was born on the same year this game was released... It's nostalgic to say the least... My cousin gave me a Mega Drive and all three sonic games (my mother bought me S&K) a when I was about 3 years old, and it was hard then... It's still sort of hard now, particularly at Metropolis and the Death Egg - The ending made me cry, I thought sonic died with the Egg, and I was scared as hell when he was falling... I had some great games, including every Sonic game except Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. I had Sonic 1 on the 6 Pak cart, Sonic 2 (not for resale version), Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, and Sonic Spinball. And of course, I had other great games like Vectorman, Virtua Racing, and Comix Zone.

I even have my Atari 2600 (1983) which is the only thing left that uses my tv's RF input. Though I wish I had your 47" HDTV. LOL I'm currently using my 32" 4:3 Flat Tube HDTV monitor. Though it was sweet back in 2002 & still has a great picture, it's bulky and I'm missing the widescreen experience.
