There IS a way to get work as a Hollywood movie star: You gave to f.cuk. people and/or let them f..uc..k you.
fuc--kin--g people is the most common way that people get acting jobs in movies. Even Sylvester Stalone was in cheap porno movies to get his "career" going. If you go to H'wood, be sure to bring good knee pads. LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!
p.s. to the rockstarj-2 or whatever you internet persona is called: If you want real extras work, buy a one-way Greyhound ticket to Burbank, CA. Get off the bus and pick up a free LA Weekly. There are many, many ads in there that say "Seeking Extras For Movie Work Today!" Pay them $250 to do your photo headshots and then wait in a dumpy motel room for the phone to ring. Some people there have been waiting for that phone call for 20 years. Oh, DunkinDonutz is hiring in Hollywood... LOL
Hey jcrockstar2, I advise you to stop everything and invest about $4 to buy a cheap DVD documentary(on eBay, Amazon, etc.). It's called Strictly Background. It is all about people who have made careers as extras in Hollywood movies. They tell stories... and a lot of it is dreadfully bad. Most of the time, they end up in a big movie, like a Jim Carry or Johnny Depp movie, except they are way in the background and slightly out-of-focus. big deal...not!
Hey man, get a clue(in fact get a few.... they're free!). Did you really think that the casting scammer have movie extra work for people in upstate NY? Even if they had some for you in NYC, how much time & money are you going to spend to get their , get a hotel room, etc. for the extras job that pays $42 to 57 for a 12-hour day? You can not make a living as an extra unless you join Extras Equity or the Screen Extras Guild(part of SAG). Who told you that you should act, anyway? LOL
@kazhuminsh . you do realize you said people can be stupid, yet used the phrase unbelievable, instead of the proper use which would be 'unbelievably amazing'',
@jcrockstar2 You "may have been a little tipsy that night"?! You don't remember?! If you don;t like the person you were, the person in this video, then why don;t you take this video off of YouTube? Advice: Take some notes about the main points you want to make in the video(about 360 Casting), then reshoot it when you are not high, not drunk, not under-slept, etc. and don't have music playing in the background... duh-oh!!!
@pjc7733 Reality check: When they want drunks or stoners for a movie, they get people who can "act" drunk or stoned. No one, I repeat, NO ONE wants a drunk or stoner on the movie set. They are obnoxious, they eat all of the crew's snack food(craft service) and they can never remember where the director told them to stand. Only one person is allowed to be stoned on the movie set: the producer, and it's gotta be really good c.o.c.a.i.n.e.
Its generous of this guy to make this video, and it's good information, but maybe next time he should turn down the music and stay way from the alcohol lol dont worry homeboy, just go to the bank and file an affidavit. You will get your money back. I must admit that I would be pissed too though
I'm sure the public is grateful for your answer to this question...perhaps next time you put yourself on video, speaking about getting a call as an actor, you should probably re-think scanning the camera across that half empty pint of booze, and enunciate your words a bit better. If I were a casting agent seeing this, I defiantly wouldn't be calling you for any job except maybe cleaning the port-o-potty's after the crew has left. Hiring manager in all industries are looking people up on U-tube.
@kazran55 Thanks you, thank you for expressing what me and the other 4 people in this office were just commenting on. Apparently this kazran guy never heard the very basic rule in this world: You Only Get One Chance To Make A Good First Impression. The first thing we see in this video is that he chose not to comb his hair, had a cigarette(or smoldering bong) going, a goofy Zappa novelty song in the background: Reality: he is the LAST person we would cast in a movie. Not even as a P.A. LOL
I gt calls all the time from there and I am 51 years old, some people have what it takes and some don't however i have had previous back ground in theater. just finished shooting in a studio in new york city, at the achievium, like i said" this is not for every body I have friends on there who has been called for acting jobs... look me up my name is catherine pearl..... i am all over google...... i am easy to find.
@50cpkatlin well, as I look back, I probably didn't take the fact that I lived WAY Upstate into consideration. Had I lived in Poughkeepsie and could take the train into NYC. I wouldn't have blasted the agency (which I still think is a scam)...for not having closer places. I called it a scam after they wouldn't let me cancel, like they said they would,
@50cpkatlin Oh, you work for 360 Casting...and they paid you to say nice things about them??? Don't lie to this rockstar2 guy by telling him he will get work. Tell your boss at 360 Casting to give him his cash back...now!
If it was a scam would they take prepaid debit cards? Think idiot! You know we can see the smoke from the weed on the side, it has been known to kill brain cells.
@jade22d there's no weed in this video or in any others. I used to smoke weed a LONG LONG time ago...it's cigarette smoke....they take credit cards because they take money...from people that want to be famous actors.....
ive been subscribed to casting 360 for about 3-4 months and ive submitted to over 100 casting calls that were looking for people like me and i havent had one call back, theres just way to much competition
@codyschuyler the reason I thought it was a scam, is because actors have said never pay money to anyone to get you work, unless it is an agent...I didn't listen, perhaps I'm too gullable...I didn't want others to get taken if it was a scam. there are plenty of comments saying this is a scam....
@jcrockstar2 In the real world of movie acting... you don't PAY the agent. The agent gets you the work and takes a finder's fee commission from the paycheck you get. That's why actors say(example) "I charge the standard rate of $240, plus 10%." The 10% is foe the agent.Maybe you should stop wasting your time keeping up with tis old video that you don;t even like... are you punishing yourself?

@annaramsey33 you're welcome, perhaps the delivery wasn't great, maybe I was drunk when I signed up? lol all drinking problems aside LET THE BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!!!
Also, you don't have to pay for the service. I paid for a few months then decided to lay low for a while. They cancelled my membership with no problem. Your profile stays up and people can still contact you directly. You just can't use the full service if you don't pay.
Maybe if you didn't appear to be such a loser you would've had better luck.
You stupid bitch, it's a scam. You're clearly an employee for them that is trying to get people to believe they are legit. THEY CHARGE YOU ASAP, THEY DID IT TO ME WHEN THEY WERE TALENT 6. FUCK THEM.
@EmceeSpawn Ok, 1st of all, it is seriously unnecessary to call me a "stupid bitch." 2ndly, I do NOT work for them. I have used them since they were Talent 6 and I'm very aware of how the service works. Clearly you had a bad experience with them, however, I have not. I haven't paid for the service in over a year because I'm not actively looking for work but have still been contacted by people who've seen my portfolio. Maybe if you weren't so angry, and hateful, good things would happen. :-)
@alenammetz I think he has the right to call anyone a b.i.t.c.h. ....especillay if they are one...hint-hint... I agree with what he says about Talent ^ and 360 Casting: ffff.uc...k.. therm!!
(actually, come to think of it, fucking people is the most common way that people get acting jobs in movies. Even Sylvester Stalone was in cheap porno movies to get his "career" going. If you go to H'wood, be sure to bring good knee pads. LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!
@alenammetz oh you absolutely pay to set it up, and you get fees taken out monthly or at least that's what I did, paid for TWO months, the first one I let go due to my fault, figured I'd try it.
First of all they are not a Scam. They're not offering you a job directly - they're providing you a service. You have to fill out your profile, submit photos, and actively put yourself out there for casting agents to notify you. They tell you from the beginning that if you want to be successful you have to actively answer casting calls and not expect people to just come to you. However, I have been contacted directly numerous times.

@poop7770 You're probably just another rip off person that's working for them! I fell for it,, so I know and can truly say it TO YOUR FACE THAT THIS CASTING360 SON OF B*TCHES!!! ARE A SCAM!!

i set up an account over the phone a couple days ago, and today i go to the site to lon in and there was no log in menu. so i call back and the same russian lady that calls herself "Vicky" answers and tells me i have to google it just to get to the menu. That was very fishy. Will i be able to call and cancel it easy or will they put me through a bunch of bullshit. someone let me know.

ALEX WEINSTEIN IN SAN FRANCISCO (SEARCH FACEBOOK & LINKEDIN) ~ BALD ~ BIG EARS ~ MID 30's IS THE SLEEZY RUSSIAN BEHIND THIS SCAM SITE AND OTHERS ~ casting360 - talent6 - itncorp - asaptickets - oojo all dot com all his companies
Castin 360 Yes all you have to do is we need your Credit Card Number and Once A Month we will give you COUPLE of address (2-3) for only $29.99 or if you prefer for unlimited address to go casting for TV commercial or a movie $69.99 every 3 months...Blah, Blah.Blah so they charge your credit card so many times and you get not LOVE if you wanna be a movie star do it on youtube :) for free.
@TheMoonprincess09 Here's the cheaper method: Call the Yellow Pages office in Los Angeles. For $8 they will ship you the newest Yellow Pages. You can find all fo the big casting directors, talent agents, talent scouts, etc. in there... eliminate the middle man.... 360 Casting is the oldest scam in the book.
Reality check: They are offering extras work to some dude in upstate NY who they have not seen, do not know if he can act, etc.
Casting 360 is without a doubt a SCAM!! I called them this morning just for the hell of it and the 1st thing they asked me was what are the numbers on my credit card and I hung up the phone. When is the last time you called somebody for a job and they ask you for you credit card without them being a scam? Somebody needs to call a powerful lawyer and have Casting 360 prosecuted and sent to prison. Have a great day!!
@Clearly69 Do you seriously think that they are going to put an entire company in prison? All 138 employees? 75% of the people who answer their phones are over in Thailand or India...
Ask yourself this: If there IS movie extras work that pays "up to $300 a day!!", then why would these people be answering phones at 360 Casting for $7 a day...?
I ,hopefully ,will not have quite the same expieriance. i tried the 14 trial, nothing was close to were i was, called to cancel. found out i was 1 day over the trial and they had already charged me. i couldn't get them to pro-rate it for one more day. so today i called to cancel- hopefully they actually did cancel it....
Fascinating story yeah.... it's all scams if you spend your money online and receive no material goods you've probably been scammed especially with recurring memberships. You could pursue a refund from your bank or debit card provider. More importantly though wtf are you listening to ? and why don't you stop it ? I think it's derailed your train of thought. I know it wasn't helping mine. do you hate someone in the next room or apt ? Are you using that crap for audio warfare or what ?
I have a friend in latvia that works for them, he thinks they're a scam.

Then they ask my Zip Code, and I was like no way.

@Tacom4ster they ask for your zip code so they can find casting calls near you.

Jeremy, thanks for the heads up on casting360. Though I have to agree with the others, drop that background music and listen to some old Gary Myrick.
Respectfully,

Reality check: They are offering extras work to some dude in upstate NY who they have not seen, do not know if he can act, etc.
rockstar fell for it, he should face his mistake.

Clearly69 1 year ago 12
@Clearly69 Do you seriously think that they are going to put an entire company in prison? All 138 employees? 75% of the people who answer their phones are over in Thailand or India...
Ask yourself this: If there IS movie extras work that pays "up to $300 a day!!", then why would these people be answering phones at 360 Casting for $7 a day...?
Get a clue!!!

I ,hopefully ,will not have quite the same expieriance. i tried the 14 trial, nothing was close to were i was, called to cancel. found out i was 1 day over the trial and they had already charged me. i couldn't get them to pro-rate it for one more day. so today i called to cancel- hopefully they actually did cancel it....

lmaoo... the other two comments on this crack me up!! But yeah, seriously, WTF are you listening too?? And why??

Fascinating story yeah.... it's all scams if you spend your money online and receive no material goods you've probably been scammed especially with recurring memberships. You could pursue a refund from your bank or debit card provider. More importantly though wtf are you listening to ? and why don't you stop it ? I think it's derailed your train of thought. I know it wasn't helping mine. do you hate someone in the next room or apt ? Are you using that crap for audio warfare or what ?
