I kind of hope that they bring someone in that is either a vampire and was the first very serious relationship or rebound after Katherine or maybe a human that totally gets Damon and understands who he is and doesn't care about the things that he has done. Ian plays so well in this scene. It's deffo one of my favorite scenes in the whole serie. By the way Damon is so cuuuute. I'd like to see him with Elena instead of her being with Stefan. Their relashionship is unfortunalty getting a bit boring :(

@thatDitte Stelena is the stable relationship so naturally they would get a bit boring, just like Delena would be in order for them to be together in the long term. That's why Damon's so frustrated in this scene--he knows that the person he is (and likes to be) could never be the right guy for Elena. They might work in the short term, but wouldn't have the staying power of Stelena. But w/Stefan's past about to come up again, things between him and Elena might get more interesting. ;-)

@thatDitte Oh yeah, I love me some Damon, too. ;-} Although I think bad Damon is so much more fun than trying-to-be-good Damon. I wish Rose had stayed around a bit longer though, he and her were so great together. Elena and Damon will probably eventually have a few eps together, but I doubt their relationship will ever really work. The reason Elena can deal w/Stefan's vampire side is b/c he hates it so much; Damon is far too comfortable w/killing for her.
