The Airbus flown by wire wasn't crashing because of the computer. the pilot has switched off the autopilot and then the plain crashed into the trees. the mistakes are mostly due to material failures and human errors.

And watch closely at the very end on the airshow jets...the pilots do everything they can to wait until the very end to punch out. They are trying to steer the wreck away from any crowds and have saved many lives on multiple occasions doing so. They rarely receive credit for risking this outside of the military.

The only one I really want to know about is the B-52 heavy going straight in. That one doesn't make any sense at all given that there's 8 engines on the thing...

The plane at 1:20. There were passengers on board and some did die. It's easy to check the facts if you want. The crash was blamed on the pilot relying too much on the computers and not flying the plane properly.

The B52 was blamed on the maverick pilot who had a history of showing off, just before it crashed he reportedly said "Watch this" to his crew.

The dialog lies. Actually, the pilot(s) wanted the crowd to see what this new plane could do and put it into a configuration from which it took to long to exit. Pilot error, not computer error.

that b52 accident was on the history channel. they said he had a reputation for being reckless. he had to abort the runway last moment because it was not completely cleared. he pulled up too hard and the plan stalled. he tried to recoverbut went into a spin he didnt have the speed or altitude to recover or eject.

The B-52 was not a noob. He was a high time (5,200 hr) Lt Col that was about to retire. He was performing an airshow routine and was well known for breaking the rules.

The 747 landing is at the infamous Kai Tak airport. Thankfully it's now closed because it was a disaster waiting to happen. Landings like that were a daily occurance.
