It's a very good tutorial, of course you had to play it a bit faster, but be smart; listen to the original song and play as fast as Coldplay do. Thanks for this helpful tutorial even if I disagree with you for the last part of the song, but it's probably because I improvise ^^'

@willraz Just get the sheet music off the net. Its free to download and print and really quite easy to learn if you can read music. Google "sheet music blogspot" its the first find that come sup. They have loads of free popular sheet music.

@willraz i got the 'a rush of blood to the head' piano book off of amazon. i am just learning how to play too. some of the songs (clocks, politik, scientist) are pretty easy to learn but they are really repetitive so i like to sing along when i play (no one else in the house appreciates this haha). other songs are more difficult (warning sign, daylight, a whisper). it's an ok book imho but there are so many tutorials on youtube i have found that is the easiest way to learn

Ok sorry I somehw deleted the first part of my comment which included the chords I was talking about. I am not musically trained and love the song.

Each chord is in each bracket set:

(A#,D#,G) (A#,D,F) (A#,C,F) (G#,C,D#)

And the chorus bit:

(A,C,G), (C,D#,G#) (A#,D#,G) (A#,D,F)

and repeat both. Have a play around. I hope it makes sense.

Eb/Bb, Bb/D, F7sus4->F7, Ab

Sometimes he's not playing the 7th there, but that's the most specific progression, anyway

Then the later section is

Fadd9, Ab, Eb, Bb/F

I don't like that last inversion though, probably should leave it just normal Bb

You should be able to work it out how to play from this. It may require a little work from you, but you write down the notes just from looking at it. Good video.

Hey dude just thought you might like to know that in the first and 3rd chord used in the chorus you have to play the G above the E flat and not the A flat below it. i.e middle C Eflat G as the chord. try it out and see, it has a smoother transition to the 2nd chord as well.
