I'm with you brother!!! I love Billy and he is the reason I took up piano but Liberty is the back bone of the band, I dont think it sounds the same without him!!!

Liberty is the only reason I saw Billy Joel 22 times..If you ever went to a Billy Joel concert, watching Liberty was like watching another concert all together...

The man is amazing and crazy on the drums. Only drummer I know that is soaking wet with sweat 15 seconds into the start of the show. Keep'em Banging Lib...you are the man!!!

Liberty is on my MySpace "Friends" list, and I wrote to see if I could get his autograph. He wrote back immediately and asked for my address. About a week later, I received a personally addressed envelope from Brookly with not 1 but 2 autographs inside! You're a class act, Liberty. I've always loved your pure rock & roll, no bullshit drumming style. Thanks for the autograph!

They still tour together. Liberty was with Billy on his last tour(2007). They are too good of friends to split up. They have known each other for over 35 years.
