I lost disc two. :( I thought he said "what if I do, lord" for a long time, but he says "love" not "lord". I think it's about realizing ones love for someone else but being afraid to say it, due to what that would mean. He would have to risk losing everything just to find out. I love this song. I wonder who Caroline is...
