However, what I do see is people from all around the world asking for english subtitles in latin videos which is normal since spanish is not as much popular language as english is. I am latinamerican and that requirement has never offended me. For the same reason, I thought that a French guy could have done the subtitles for me but you are too proud (or should I say "chauvinst"?) for that, aren´t you?

If I'd go to a foreign country, I wouldn't expect the people there to speak my language. Instead I'll make an effort to communicate in the local tongue. And second, to say that there should always be subtitles in the most popular language is absurd. By that logic, every clip on youtube should have subtitles in chinese.
