hey just wondering would that pen rod cast a normal size fly line?

Hi dec21000, thanks for watching & commenting. The spools have a very small diameter. They would not hold normal size float line, but they do hold thin float line. However, the Pen Rod Extreme & the New Pen Rod Goliath have very small diameter guides that will not let float line pass through freely. In order to use the fly combo you would have to use a method known as shooting head! I hope this answers your question. :)
