Though when I was going up 65000 steps that last time, my screen turned black. I just rode around until I heard Jubilife City music, opened the menu & pokedex, closed it, and I appeared on the screen again. Kept going as I was supposed to, and it worked. Thanks!

Everytime when I do the 64000 walk when i get to my 39775 step, yes exactly that number, I get a message saying I need ribbions to enter and then I end up in the resort area I'm fine though my game is not mee u and im in "real" sinnoh but i still want a shaymin so in order for the cheat to work do I need the ribbons?

my game freezes after 236 steps, its a pity because i just restarted and was hoping for shaymin as my grass type. I caught darkrai beforethen sent to pokemon white. Now i restarted and cant even get close!!!
Heres a quick fix for the steven star resturant thing. Go 874 steps east then when you get past the resturant travel 4 steps to the left. For the black screen when your in seabrak path use the kit again without the menu. You should be in the actual underground. Not turn off your game then turn it on you should be in the seabreak path with graphics and shaymin should be there. Hope this helps.

i recommend you trade useful and precious pokemon to another gen 4 game and try. If your data goes, you can get it back. Another thing is to use a spare game like it says in the description. If you don't have 2 games, ds's or both try with your friend's ds or game to trade.

It keeps freezing at 237 steps north when Im supposed to be going 430 steps. It seems like a trainer catches me, and I have been to known to sneak past trainers so for all the people having problems at 237. It might be a trainer you skipped past.

@ThePerfectJumpz The wall can be breached. If you do this and get to the seabreak and use the kit when you get back you will be in the void. DONT MOVE. Go underground again( the explorer kit should be registered) and you will be in the actual underground. Now turn your game off turn it on. You should be in seabreak path with graphics loaded. GO CLAIM.... SHAYMIN!!!
if you use somthing to hold the button down ther is a chance you will ether miss the island or you might have gone off cours without realizing it try watching it as you go along
Caught him! Once I was able to get a walkable void (and a rather sore thumb), getting to Seabreak Path went perfectly....the difficulty i had catching him was my own fault though (I eventually just resorted to throwing great balls while he was at full health...it eventually worked). Thanks so much for the video! Once I trade Shaymin over to my HG version, i'm going after Darkrai!
Hmm... This trick worked only once for me. I lost the game data and restarted. But it's been a long time since it doesn't work. I don't know why, but just at the end of the trick, when I have to use the explorer kit in the white corridor of Shaymin's island, after saving the game and restarting the game freezes. Both windows are black and the music is freezed...
Is it because of the firmware or something like that? D:
@HeartLessJilo Same problem. I tried everything I could but it seems the save file is a loss. A surefire fix would be a new game. Luckily though, if you have Pokemon Black or White and can use the transfer lab, you can transfer pokemon from the save file to Black/White before you start a new game. It sucks, but it happens, I guess.

actually you dont have to sacrifise your own game i had played 600h and got stuck but i remembered that i saved at jublife city before i went there :D. so the game data wont lose it only losses if you got stuck in the void
I've got a problem. Whenever I in 9400 - 9500 steps am, my two screens will be black. I can not go on and I get out even more from the Mystorösen zone .. What should I do now? Help me T ^ T
I had a serious question. What is the ACTUAL risk involved with tweaking for Shaymin? I've heard tons of people say it can wipe your game, but when I think about what is actually taking place, it doesn't seem like it should be that risky.I've been in the void many times, but too afraid to try for Shaymin or do any of that save stuff.
Also, do you have to save/use the explorer kit? or can it work without doing that.
@MK212074 well i tried it just now. and idk what happened but it caused my game to freeze. i couldn't do anything with it. the game just sat there with a sound that was just stuck on the last note of music or something. I'm not interested in getting these pokemon that badly so i stopped after that. luckily though i turned off my game and everything was okay. idk if it will be next time so no more glitching for me.
you can get that normally on pokemon platinum without tweaking or glitches or action replay all u need to do is find that one spot in victory road where the guy was blocking that one exit and go through after you got the nationaldex and soe girl will ask you to let her see the graditude pokemon and one you get out of the cave and all the way through the path after it you will find the path to shaymin
@Tyraninator no u need oaks letter dude just simply goin there wont do anything ive tried that it desnt do a thing all u find is a rock and some trainers
@SonicShadowSilver404 actualy you need to talk to profesor oak after you get the national dex and the rock you type who you are the most proud of and then a path will apear

Update: i did everything. at 4:30 of the video. i launched the explorer kit. then my game loaded back up. but is in total darkness, with the music still. [MY GAME IS DEAD] ARGHH!! [ Diamond Version ] 80 hours game play /wave (: lucky i still can upload my pokemon to battle revolution :)

@kuro88cocodstroy Move 4 steps to the right so take 874 stepsnot 870. Then at 58,000 steps or so go 4 steps to the left. Wahla. If the screens are black on seabreak path just go underground again. Then start your game again by turning it off and on.

ew it didnt work. at 63 306 steps i dropped into the Seven Stars Restaurant then the guy told me ''sorry we're closed'' (but still the screen was black) ... then i had to press A to end the message and got back into the ''real'' world -__________________-

@kuro88cocodstroy I have the same exact issue, though it generally occurs for me at around 48k steps north. It's happened twice in a row.

I had a nintendo DS for adound 3 year, but 2 years ado i broke it, it's trash now.
Anyways, i downloaded the game and played it through.
I tried to do the glitch, but i got a Phenon || 2x procesor so i could not affort the game to freeze.
BUT!!!!!!
I loaded the WH (Wall Hack) cheat on the desmume menu and did as the tutorial sad.
NOW i an finaly at the point, after i go 236 steps north from the first station(step 1) the program crashes every time :/ I don't know what to do.

actually you dont have to sacrifise your own game i had played 600h and got stuck but i remembered that i saved at jublife city before i went there :D. so the game data wont lose it only losses if you got stuck in the void

I had a serious question. What is the ACTUAL risk involved with tweaking for Shaymin? I've heard tons of people say it can wipe your game, but when I think about what is actually taking place, it doesn't seem like it should be that risky.I've been in the void many times, but too afraid to try for Shaymin or do any of that save stuff.
Also, do you have to save/use the explorer kit? or can it work without doing that.

@MK212074 well i tried it just now. and idk what happened but it caused my game to freeze. i couldn't do anything with it. the game just sat there with a sound that was just stuck on the last note of music or something. I'm not interested in getting these pokemon that badly so i stopped after that. luckily though i turned off my game and everything was okay. idk if it will be next time so no more glitching for me.

you can get that normally on pokemon platinum without tweaking or glitches or action replay all u need to do is find that one spot in victory road where the guy was blocking that one exit and go through after you got the nationaldex and soe girl will ask you to let her see the graditude pokemon and one you get out of the cave and all the way through the path after it you will find the path to shaymin

Update: i did everything. at 4:30 of the video. i launched the explorer kit. then my game loaded back up. but is in total darkness, with the music still. [MY GAME IS DEAD] ARGHH!! [ Diamond Version ] 80 hours game play /wave (: lucky i still can upload my pokemon to battle revolution :)

lol whoever takes 4 hours to get into the void must be really uncoordinated. i got in three times in 5 minutes.
and then i found out you can go into the void on platinum but cant do anymore than that.
