Modest Mouse was great back in the day. I think they were in their prime in studio back in 97, live in 2001, and I think that 2009 is damn close as far as live performance goes.

I thought Jeremiah left when Good News came out? i could be wrong. Wikipedia is confusing. I dont like their new stuff more than their older stuff but i still like it. the lyrics are more powerful and more in an "in your face" type of sound. for example. March into the sea, parting of the sensory. and others
