@baseballnumber75 They only have about 2 hours and the book would be AT LEAST 3 hours long. So cuts have to be made. As much as I hate the movie writers, directors, actors, and everyone else but the prop makers and special effects artists. Wait scratch the artists, they made Hades(the place) look like Donte's Inferno and Mt. Olympus look like Dracula's Castle. Can't wait for the spoof!

movie is great but if you read the book you get disappointed cuz they left soo many important things out and sadly those are the things that will connect to the rest of the series. now it makes me wonder how they will do the rest and all i can think of is that they have to make a very different story that what is in the book. so sadly book is absolutely more better and exciting than the movie

1. Annabeth likes Luke (in the first second and third book) NOT Percy

2. They didn't even mention Thalias pine tree, Annabeth's annoying mortal family, clarisse or ares, or Kronos and much more

3. They are twelve not sixteen

4. I was looking forward to that scorpion in the end and the whole Seaweed Brain thing

5. The end of the movie is nothing like the end of the book

I have to admit it was a great movie. I wish I had Riptide. I also would love to wear armor.

@twilightspectacular Finally someone who understands that no matter if a lot of the fact's were missing, IT WAS STILL A GOOD MOVIE! I too, was looking forward to Seaweed Brain and stuff, and the one thing that makes me mad most is they delete the scenes that would've made it more like the book: There was a "You drool when you sleep" scene, and in another deleted scene, Thalia was mentioned by Grover, he just never mentioned the pine tree transformation part :P
