It wasnt' until later that he refined his kickboxing and improved the ground game that he became the fighter he is now, back in the day he was losing to Shogun and Chuck Lidell among others, imagine if he fought them now, he would murder them. He still isn't perfect and leaves himself open a lot. Dos Santos might find that opening.
