  • I want that weapon!!!

  • I go to that same range PA

  • .17hmr got a bad name with Semi-autos because dumbasses think every semi should be fired as fast as possible. The .17hmr presented problems in semi's that had not taken this into account. I've put thousands of rounds through my Remington 597 (.17 hmr) and my Magnum Research semi. Flawless action, but I don't shoot like Rambo.

  • caution: theres a warning in many sites including hornady and excel arms clearly states that you should not use .17 hmr in semi autos...theck the sites plz.

  • this was up at Gouldsboro?

  • i want one of these rifles so bad, it would a great varmint rifle with mil dot scope and some .20 gr CCI bullets

  • i heard these things may blow up in your face because the barrel will get so clotted up and the round cant go through or something like that

  • The accuracy is great, sub MOA at 100. I dont have any problems with this gun.

  • so is it safe and does that rifle work well cause now i want one!

  • that looked like there was no recoil at all

  • @brtshstel Its a weak ass round what did you expect...

  • @Dmac11a666 tell that to the exploding squirrels. Very fun to shoot if you don't mind the price

  • @thallus1978 Rather see .50 bmg vs prairie dogs...If you don't mind the price..:P

  • looks like a high point 995 copy

  • I want that.

  • Have you had any issues with the cycling? Because up until now there have not been any good semi .17hrm firearms.

  • Where is the rear and front sight?

  • There are none that come factory. You can put a scope or any kind of sights you want.

  • how much cost this rifle?

  • how much cost this rifle?

  • i have read things that is possibly dangerous to have a 17hmr in semiauto

  • @JameR242 what could go wrong?

  • @bobiscool308 round could explode and maime your face lol

  • @JameR242 why would it explode

  • not sure why but it has happened before and has caused serious injury i would post a link but it won't let me in the comments

  • @JameR242 So dont buy one.

  • @supressorgrid I wont i ilke all the features on my face

  • @JameR242 Creature features?

  • @JameR242 yea any rimefire can be dangerous in semi.

  • @mrsuperterd not my ruger 10/22

  • @XvChriisvX haha agreed thier the only semi rimfire I trust.

  • @mrsuperterd these .17's only mess up cause the barrels hole is soooo tiny

  • @JameR242 Do you believe every damn thing you hear or read???

  • Man, for .17hmr I would only want a bolt action :) The cartridge looks so pretty I wouldn't want to waste it. Sure, 17hmr is more expensive, but it is quality and much less than say .30-06. Now, we know .30-06 is worth it though, it has range.

  • @ntrudr800

Do not kill a little white rabbit with MACHINE GUN!

Need no 30-06! Do you have money to buy ammo to shoot 30-06 NOW!

Cheap: buy Euroean guns (better rounds and quality than Amercicam made) 8mm or 7.62.54R...Big round and rifle around $150 to $200 Mauser or Moisin Nagant...Surely kill elephants or Lions with Cheap Ammo and riffle but (not bad quality)

  • @CharlieDoan You have some very twisted thinking. Americans winning in competition against foreigners use American ammunition.

    Think again booboo.

  • I bought one of these the other day. Really nice guns. Having a varmint cartridge you can make very quick follow up shots with is dandy.

  • im not trying to get cod invovled but is this what the aa12 was based off of oris it just a semi

  • He shot three shots in a little under three seconds. No full auto shoots that slow idiot.

  • nasty squirrel hunter

  • That was semi auto and a standard rifle you idiot.

  • gamelands shooting range i see.

nice semi never heard of one in a semi like that

  • No its not full auto, and not a class 3.

  • holy shit i didnt know they made .17 auto pistols and rifles?!? This would be good for self defense if it was in full auto and with a 30rd mag

  • I don't understand what kind of feeding issues it would have. Those little .17 HMRs are bottle-necked so they tend to do fine - or at least they do alright in my Savage bolt-action.

  • man that rifles crazy, i gotta savage in 17 hmr. just wondering, how much was it??

  • You can get them around 500 bucks, but they are worth it.

  • @SamLFisher where i can get one? where did you get yours?

  • @SamLFisher Local gunshow? Hows reliability?

  • You might be able to get one at a gunshow. I say it works very well. The only problem it has is if you load the rounds in the mag wrong.

  • Sweet. I was looking at on and it felt really good and stable. I liked the idea u don't have to come out of the scope to chamber another round.

  • They stopped making them in .17 HMR so if you find one hang on to it.

  • I just talked to Excel Arms and I was told theya re still making them in 17 HMR

  • If they still make them, then you should get one while they do.

  • So how well did it test

  • Perfrectly, I can put five rounds in a nickel at 100 yards without a bench rest.

  • looks like a berta i saw once

  • i did not know thair was a 17.

  • They dont make one anymore. Cause someone said there was a problem with loading 17 hmr rounds. But I havent had a single problem other then if you dont load the rounds right in the mag they wont feed into the gun at all.

  • I was thinking of buying one in the 22 mag. I heard they have feed issues . How has yours held up? Any problems? I sure would like to see more video and the accuracy of this wepon. Thanks for your video. you are about the only info on the web about this wepon. Thanks.

  • I havent had any real problems with the feeding just when the rounds are loaded in the mag wrong. As soon as the weather gets better I am going shooting again and I will get more on for you.

  • Thats wise seeing how your suppose to load less then max, so you don't wear out your clip spring.. Always the first thing to fail.

  • Where did you get your weapons training cause if you were charged for it you got ripped off.

A clip does NOT have a spring, a magazine does. The clip simply holds the rounds to be loaded into a magazine, either built in or detachable magazines.

Like stripper clips for an SKS.

As for spring failure, its not the amount of compression on a spring that will wear it out, it is the full compressing and expanding that reduces the tension of a spring.

Time to lay off the bud Bud.

  • Hey fuck you arbuilder. Clip or Mag you know what he meant you fukin asshole. And your knowledge on weapons wouldnt make a pimple on my ass. So STFU.

  • how many rounds can it hold?

  • the factory says 9 but I got it to hold 10
