  • Its a shame none of these songs will be played in the 2017 tour.

    :'(

  • @kruwes Hell, i think they're ALL gonna be played in the 2017.

BECAUSE I FUCKING EXPECT IT TO LAST AT LEAST 20 HOURS AFTER WAITING 10 YEARS

  • @Schabiq I do to, I was 9 or something in 2007 so I had to listen to the concert from my window.

If they don't play the songs I'm probably going to be depressed for the rest of my life.

  • @kruwes I was 7 in 2007. Had no clue what house music was. Now, I'm 12, and house is the definition of my life. I cannot WAIT for 2017 because I'll be 17, I'll buy tickets, and I'm forcing my sister who hates Daft Punk to go with me so she can see how amazing they are! I think they'll play Thomas's side-projects because they played some of them in 2007, too. Daft Punk forever! [=

  • @daftpunk278 I'll be 21 then. you have to be 18, I'll take you to ALIVE 2017 as a supervisor ;)

  • SNOWFLAKES =)

  • @maxlol99 :D

  • It's nice to know that the kids like this shıt, too!

  • @ming57 agreed man im 18 now and i would have loved to live when house was in the works

  • My first song I heard of daft punk was when I was 4 since interstellar 5555 was on Toonami. 8 years later, I found one more time again and i said holy crap memories! I still love those guys and really hope they stay together. DaftPunkFan4Eva-3

  • @EpicWinningFaceGirl same here thanks to toonami(:

then in middle school i saw a blue cartoon(interstellar 5555) and i was like this music? it sounds so familiar and yea it was Daft Punk(:

  • Ok.

I found a constant in here.

I heard my First Daft Punk track when i was 7.

    That would be 1997.

Da Funk came and reocked my world.

Now, i'm 21, and Daft Punk still rocks my world.

I grew up with this guys... I know most of you guys did.

    Daft Punk, not for life.

    BUT FOR FUCKING EVER.

  • @BluelightSpike cant forget daft punk toured 2007

  • Yo my first DP song was around the world and I heard it when I was like 6 I have been devoted to them ever since Thomas and Guy are so awesome. Stardust needs to come back!!!

  • i'm playing this at a bbq

  • I REALLYYY wish i was my age now, in the 90's. I fucking HATE the crap on the radios today :'(

  • @saltyoceanwater Oh you're so right! I hate this radio shit stuff like pop and the other stuff! Only House, Electro House and Electronic music is the best!

  • @delectronical YESSSS!!! :DDDD

  • @saltyoceanwater :) Im should make a Thomas Bangalter Mix

  • @saltyoceanwater It's honestly ridiculous how many of us early 20 somethings really do wish that... I have that thought at least once a day so you're definitely not alone :)

  • not his best one ^^

  • If you listen closely, you'll hear it's actually a 2-bar loop.

  • sample please !

  • great song to sample for a good quality 909 kick drum...

  • I mixed this today with some random track i dont no what it was.. I felt as though i was trippin balls ! Such a good track

  • I SWEAR THE SAMPLE IS SAYING "TAPE HER"

  • @RaPpSniTcH deeper :D

  • Haha, bei WOM gekauft.... Das warn noch zeiten^^

  • @jpmahone yes it is, and this isn't Daft Punk, Daft Punk also has the mind of Guy-man behind it.

  • Guys, I wouldn't call TBang's early work French House. The term "French House" wasn't really made into a genre until the last few years. At this time this was just considered "House which happens to have been produced in France"

  • @daftendirekt97 idk about that, not to argue genrification (real word??)but french house has been kicking around as a term/genre for longer than that im afraid.. But by any name shit BANGORZ!!

  • beggining almaost sounds like outrun

  • come back and shit on david guetta !

  • tbh, you'd have to classify this as French House.

because Thomas was doing stuff that nobody else was doing @ the time...

  • I am an alien from a nearby galaxy, is this what your species calls music?

  • yea daft punk Paul Johnson, Armande van helden, are the best but thers also new guys like Voices of Black, and surkin who keep it funky as well

  • @go2class I can't find any info about 'Voices of Black' on youtube or discogs... can you point me in the right direction?

  • what genre would you call this i need more like it!?!

  • French house,french filter house :)

  • It is house. Old house. French house wasnt really discovered at this time yet.

  • My bad I almost forgot homen cristo you're right this duo is my favorite without him it wouldn't be daft punk

  • when i was introduced to this music i was so amazed the beat i got hooked to it( french house)Thomas his musical skills are out of this world i can't wait for daft punk to release a new album and thanks for posting this track.

  • i can't find which album these are on. alot of sites say they're on an album called Roule and alot say they're on an album called Trax on da Rocks. :( any help?

  • Roulé is the record label its on, the album is Trax on Da Rocks vol. 2

  • thanks. :)

  • Vinyl only though.

  • wow ace song intro sounds like phoenix :P

  • yea it does lol

  • no one makes it better than thomas and by the way i agree that this guy is a musical genius.

  • no doubt bout that ,, i mean daft punk have been named the greatest duo in dance and electronic

  • Hey you can't forget Guy Manuel because if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have Daft Punk.

  • Aw man, I missed the argument!

  • heard daft punk in 1997-98... i was 7-8 years old back then

11 years later... im turning 20 next month and i still didn't hear anything better then daft punk, Stardust or Knight Club.

Thomas and Guy-Manuel are to house music what Marvin Gaye is to Soul and R&B... TIMELESS...

  • you are so right, their definition of house "signed" a whole style, french house was brought up by them at all and they pushed the whole scene that much, french house = thomas&guy-manuel.

love them,as i heard homework the first time was killed by them ;P greets, thumbs up :D

  • @Jazzybreaks yes sir shit doesnt get better than this in the slightest there just isnt anything better than DP stardust or KC music today doesnt have that same trance as the older music.

  • @Jazzybreaks ditto to that!

  • can anyone tell me where i can get this that's not in Vinyl.

  • mp3

  • hehe

  • Very underrated track, killer when played on a three decks set.

  • Guy-Man brought in da house music while Thomas brought that funk in. They go 2gether like pb&j!

  • I think this is Thomas' best song. And I think this is one of the best house trax ever!

  • his best track is music sounds better with you. he was one half of stardust before daft punk. thats why they will occasionly play that track at daft punk gigs. this track is very very poor for him. im even doubting its him.

  • Of course this is Thomas Bangalter, the track can be found on his vinyl "Trax on da rocks v2") so it would be kind of strange if it wasn't made by Thomas. To me this is his best track and Music Sound Better With U is just one boring mainstream track :-( Go and listen to some pop music instead

  • Music sounds better with you is not "just one boring mainstream track" are you retarded?

  • @itemnotwo one of the best house tracks ever produced

  • @itemnotwo Whoever said that has no taste don't worry about them.

  • people like you amuse me. go around lookind for slight indescrepincies in people comments then get annoyed and throw a little knoledge out in the hope people think you know shit. grow up mate and stop being pathetic

  • unfortunately you just made your self look even stupider. The best response would've been "sorry, you were right. I'm off to take a few english classes to improve my grammar and hopefully I'll be a nicer person in the future. Cheers!"

    but you didn't say that

  • your arrogance is disturbing

  • I find misinformation disturbing. keep in mind that youtube is a venue for some people to discover music and the facts behind it. What you wrote was far from "slight" so i corrected it. Sure I was snide in doing so, not to make people think I know my shit but to make others sure that you definitely don't know yours. people take info in these comments and them common knowledge, it's not asking much to be accurate.

  • wow i really seemed to have made an impact on your mental state.

  • Comment removed

  • Not at all. I called you out---what you wrote was equivocal to someone bullshitting through a book report---can't hide from the facts. How's them english classes, by the way?

  • i agree with djmmayberry that this song is very simple but i do still think its very good

  • Ok, seriously, guys. Yeah Bangalter knows what he's doing, but there is a reason that his most epic tracks have come from collaborative efforts. I mean, this song is a perfect example: it sounds like a good idea, but incomplete. Just cause the guy is renowned doesn't mean that everything he produces is gold. It's 909 and a 2-beat filtered hook - come on. Not that amazing.

  • Why don't you make something for us than?

  • Yeah please show us some shite that is as good as Tom's.

  • Yah, okay. Might as well. Just go to myspace under djmarkmayberry

  • I think ur trax are quite good actually! I like 'em.. But I still think Thomas' trax are gold..

  • Thomas Bangalter is far better than djmarkmayberry's music.

    djmarkmayberry's music is nothing.

  • your tracks haven't a patch on Bangalter's my friend

  • thanks for listening tho

  • i didn't listen for long, it didn't take long

  • Yeah, good point... Nevertheless he's still one of the dj masters and pioneers of the french house by entering sound trends on the elctronic music at his time...

  • I agree with djmmayberry. I think that some of Bangalter's tracks are too simple and could be better. Case in point: Roule Boule and What To Do.

  • ya i agree. all i need is sexy. anychance i can get the mp3?

  • i agree.

some of his shit is amazing amazing amazing, and some of it isnt.

its not like mayberry is trashing him, hes just pointing out that no one is PERFECT at what they do. sheesh.

  • yeah man thank you for putting these up..

  • Another awesome track by Thomas. Thanks for sharing!
