@826loyd For some reason I just noticed your comment and I certainly thank you for stopping by and for the compliment!! Not sure I did not see it before!
@fireflyxl5 Hi guys! Thanks so much. I have been living in our motor home the last two months and have not kept up with YouTube! Thanks for listening and it means a lot to hear from some great Celtic players like you two!!!
Very good my friend. Your playing is very precise. Reminds me of Northumbrian music. I played a wedding recently where they had a Northumbrian band playing prior to us, with dancers and it was just like this.
Woah, i just read your info! Im from Newcastle Upon Tyne/Northumberland!!
@baldyholly79 Thanks for the comment and hey its great you are from Newcastle on the Tyne! I had occasion to look up that town a few weeks ago -- crazy coincidence I guess or time lines bending! Either way cool -- and it is especially great that a "native listener" hear the tune!! Of course I enjoy all your Buddy Holly stuff a well!!
@mgwhitehead Thanks a million Martin! I guess the mandola is actually good training because it forces you to learn patterns of that you don't use too often on the mandolin and it also sets you up for the tenor guitar and mandocello!
Thanks Gwen -- its been a busy summer lots of things going on! (<:
But I've leaned a bunch of new tunes so I hope to get around to uploading in a few weeks...
All is well here and I hope the same for you -- I am still subscribed to your channel but have not seen any new uploads lately -- I'll have to drop by today and see if I lost my connection -- that happens now and then on YouTube. Thanks again for the kind words!
Hi Bernie: It has been a long time - have missed your music. I hope all is well on your end. Good hearing you share that talent of yours. Love the song, great playing. Enjoyed. Thanks, take care. Gwen
