This isn't even a really a review. It's way too jokey, somewhat condescending (to the movie, as strange as that sounds)- no pisstake-y is a better word. Where's the actual pro's/con's evaluation of the movie. So disappointing. Not even funny =( except the comment about that guy's hair looking like "1990's rat hair"
1.4 and 1.5 the movie is nowhere near as bad as the rating you guys gave it. It's actually a pretty decent movie and it's without a doubt the best one since the original.
@DodgeRamBoy11 So let me get this straight, if there is a movie that I like and you don't, I can call you a fucking idiot? Way to argue your points. Not everyone likes the same movies, part of being a movie fan
I enjoyed this movie until the last 30 minutes or so when they revealed who the killers were...after that, the only thing I could think of was "really.....man.....realllllly??? thats the only reasoning you could think of?"
Scream 4 mixed the comedy and the horror very well. Though, it tended to shift more toward the comical side, it still kept the two separate when needed. It successfully satirized the conventions of the present day horror film and blatantly pointed the finger at it's targets in the correct way. It still managed to play against expectations and serve up many surprises. It's just a straight up fun and entertaining movie from start to finish. Feels refreshing, for a horror movie in these days.
It's expected that you would dislike it since your sort of cynicism is what the film dissects, embodying & then summarily condemning it. Cynics would likely resent that and won't see the irony-or they will construe it as cliche or trite in order for them to avoid having self-perspective. So they, & possibly others, might find it hollow - which is also missing the point. It's fine if you dislike it but the reasons put forward here are all drenched in cynicism and a misreading of what the film is.
@ramfock Ok good sir, we will put you on the spot, out of the remaining big movies out in the summer, please predict what we will think of them. Thank you for being involved in the channel!
@AldoTheAphelion I didn't dislike her, but she is a lot prettier than that haircut gave her credit for. She was fine in the movie, it was the tone and sloppiness of it that I had problems with.
I saw the movie i loved it and you know what you guys are stupid. You didnt like the movie because you didnt want to like it, the movie was brilliant.
@max536drago I can guarantee that there is a movie that we like that you don't and I can also guarantee that we won't call you "stupid" for not liking it. Opinions are opinions. Very glad you enjoyed the movie but who is to say your tastes have to be ours?
@schmoesknow You know what your right i shouldnt of called you stupid, you really are being unfair though, if you like the first one how can you not like this.
@max536drago No worries but that is where I disagree. The first one to me in my opinion is a different tone than this film. The humor was too silly in this movie, in the first one, the humor was based on the real. Matthew Lilliard from part 1 and Randy were the humor but you believed they were real. The humor in this one seemed like something out of Scary Movie. I think that is why it did so poorly at the box office. They promised us the first and it seemed the same as Scream 3
@schmoesknow interesting i like this one a little more than the first one though, what movie would you say is better sorrority row or screem 4 im just wondering.
Oh right guys. Finally saw the movie. You guys told me to tell me what i thought of the movie and i would definitely give it 2 out of 5 schmoes. I was definitely expecting better. The beginning was pretty clever but still towards the end of the beginning it just wasn't as epic as the first scream beginning. And definitely felt slow and boring during the middle. Was a little predictable as well. The ending was pretty good though but still could have been better. And F*** Bruce Willis lol!!
as promised...you guys nailed it on the head w/ how annoying the one liners are no one laughed and they are not funny the beginning of the film is great some of the kill scenes or cool but it just wasnt up to par w/ 1 and 2 it just felt flat the beginning was great and what a shout out to "Peeping Tom"
I saw it and wasn't to bad. I mean, it's a Scream movie, what you expect it to be? At least it isn't a shitty remake. I give it a year that till they actually do a reboot of these movies.
Dude i got to disagree man i really liked this movie, i hated 2 and 3 and loved 1 and i really liked this one. Went with four mates and we all enjoyed it, it was pretty old school and I didn't guess who the killer was until the end.
The franchise is awesome Scream 1 will always be on the top then 2, now 4 & then 3. I didn't jump out of my seat but I still loved it 4/5!!! Anyhow honesty is appreciated and funny review ;)
I went to see Scream 4, and I had never seen any other Scream movie. And I really enjoyed this movie, and my two friends who I went with (huge horror movie fans by the way) liked it alot too. They decided it was great but not like the first movie; I personally would've given the movie a 3.75/5, it's not extremely memorable but the plot twist really got me- this movie is one of those types where you realise what's gonna happen barely 2 seconds before it actually does, and then you're like "shit"
@schmoesknow i think i'm gonna have to go with you on the whole believable thing, the first one seemed realistic, but this one, the killer could not play two roles for her life, i couldn't take her seriously at all. the other killer though, i liked, but he was someone i guessed from the beginning, i knew the other ones would have been too obvious, but overall, i just don't see why such a low score
hey schmoes i have watched reviews for this movie from Jeremy, tom chatalbash, the movie buzz guy, even Richard roeper and they all said it was a lot better than what you guys said it was. How come you hated it so much
@imdonewitit I watched Jeremy's review and I agree with him and I think we are summed up into his conclusion- "If you loved Scream 1 and didnt like the others you will hate this." And that is how we felt. If anything, I could maybe go to 2 out of 5 schmoes because the beginning was so fun but that is the most I will budge. I just love the first one so much and thought the humor in this ruined it.
@schmoesknow hey schmoes i have watched reviews for this movie from Jeremy, tom chatalbash, the movie buzz guy, even Richard roeper and they all said it was a lot better than what you guys said it was. How come you hated it so much
personally, i'd have liked the movie if they didnt try and make it funny, THEY KILL IT! like when the cop got stabbed and said "fuck the bruce lee shit" AS IF YOU WOULD and those sort of things just killed it. i think the writer was stuck for a story also as he pretty much copied his story fromthe first but overall it wasnt a let down i loved it. just not the comedy element
@missesaskew Ha do you mean when he said Fuck Bruce WIllis? And Yes I agree with you, the humor killed it BUT I think this is the thing. If you compare it to the first Scream, you will be very disappointed (as I was) but it seems the people who enjoyed it, took it as a comedy and had fun with it, kudos to them. I was expecting more.
I just got back from the movie and its nice to hear that you guys feel the same way I do. I really enjoyed the first two (and even the third, for the most part) Scream movies. This one was pretty entertaining (if rented from Redbox), but not a good horror movie. The whole thing felt awkward (like Courtney Cox's botox).
*I apologize for noting Courtney Cox's obvious plastic surgery, because I think she's a beautiful woman*
Anyways.. The ending sucked and this movie was a cash-grab.
its funny, cause i cant see a damn thing wrong with this movie, its a slasher film that makes fun of slasher films and it does that perfectly, the way they bashed Torture Porn movies and Remakes and the whole modern Horror Industry was original and they incorpated it into the plot nicelly, like how the rules changed. The movie mind fucks you throughout the whole thing, i felt the beginning and ending were brilliant and the meat of the movie held it together perfectly, for a slasher movie 5/5.
@LalidatorClan I think I was just expecting more thrills then humor. The first Scream was believable to me, I haven't felt the same to any of the sequels.
@schmoesknow i think i'm gonna have to go with you on the whole believable thing, the first one seemed realistic, but this one, the killer could not play two roles for her life, i couldn't take her seriously at all. the other killer though, i liked, but he was someone i guessed from the beginning, the knew the other ones would have been too obvious, but overall, i just don't see why such a low score
Did we see the same movie? I respect your opinion, but I had a blast with this movie. I think all of the humor worked, but that's me. Good review, though. Gotta love the cat! (I have a feeling he wrote the upcoming PRIEST)
@Rowenet I feel he wrote that as well. In regards to Scream, honestly I don't think we saw same movie and I think that is why there are so many split opinions. Some went into this (me) expecting Scream 1 tone, disturbing but still poking jabs at the genre, others were ok with the pure farce and silly comedy and I think that is great if that is what you were ok with.
There always seems to be a little revisionist history that goes on whenever a new Scream or Halloween or whatever comes out. People always go "Man, the first one was so good and they were mocking what other franchises become, and it's really original." Yeah, that's great, except it wasn't. I just re-watched the first scream and it was horrendous. The writing was awful as was most of the performances. It's also filled with every cliche in the book. Craven's a hack.
@grindhouse141 As much as I agree with everything you say in this and even not being a huge fan of Craven, this movie was not his fault. The studio rammed scenes down his throat the night before they shot, a lot of drama on set, cant blame the man for that.
@drgnrdrgrl Well Scream 4 was a franchise and we made the decision more people would want to see the review of this BUT we have had a ton of requests for Insidious. We will get a review out eventually.
I've never disagreed with a schmoes review more than now! Just saw the film and loved it! It was fun, hilarious, and scary. It didn't take itself seriously and I had a great time! It has its flaws...But it's WAY better than what you guys give it credit for.
@CAK11891 CAK, hey opinions are totally respected here in Schmoeville. Very glad you enjoyed the film. I didn't find it scary per se and thought there was too much Transformers2 humor but hey to each his own, glad you had a fun time with it!
@20tom09gt It seems to be split 20, those who feel like we do and some who had fun with the humor. To me it seemed more like another Scary Movie then it did the first Scream but hey opinions make the world go round no?
There's too many girls in this movie. I am a horror chick and I don't even know ONE other girl who knows horror movies well enough to chat with me about them. Let alone 5 or 4 or whatever. . . ANYWAYS I think the original Scream trilogy was actually good. A scary movie for people who like movies [I hate to admit this, but I pretty much am Jamie Kennedy's character] There are not a lot of trilogy's that can live past the tragic third film, and Wes Craven achieved that. Than he went and F'd it up.
@schmoesknow Aaaaaaaaawwwwwww man.....see only people who've been down with The Shcmoes for a while should be privi to such info, but either way where the fuck did you guys find that picture of that cat?
Wow I guess I REALLY disagree with you guys on this. It's not the classic original and not a great film but I really liked it. I agree the humor didn't hit. But I felt like it kept up the tension. I was REALLY distracted by several huge logic errors (the police force in Woodboro make Barney Fife looks like Jason Bourne) and I felt Sydney (who has written a book about empowerment) seemed weak and a little stupid (why do people in the movies NEVER think to call 911?) but I was never bored.
So, what was it that you hated about it? Was it boring? Was it not scary? I thought Scream 2 and 3 were both boring and stupid (Hell, the killers made no sense at all.)
@SoppingOyster From this comment, you make your point clear and crisp like a day after it rains. I know why you disagree with us. Instead of insulting, why don't you tell us why you disagree and have a conversation about movies instead of hurling insults. That is what we do on this channel, discuss.
@schmoesknow sorry i wasnt thinking i geuss i was just so shocked any one could dislike this. i geuss u have to be people who actually know anything or actually like horror films. no crack though just my opinion
The fact that this film has a 15 certificate in the U.K (when the other three were rated 18), tells you that this franchise needs a blood transfusion or better still, be cut off from life suport all together.
The fact that a guy was farting next to Harloff is hysterical. It reminds me of the time I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and the guy behind me threw a whole bucket of popcorn up in the air after being scared early in the film. I've never laughed so hard in my life.
this may be a bad horror movie, but you know a good one? insidious. please review it. i saw an advanced screening last night (doesnt come out here until may 6) the writer and the director were there at the film and had a Q&A. it was awsome! please review it. insidious is the best horror film in years maybe decades.
this may be a bad horror movie, but you know a good one? insidious. please review it. i saw an advanced screening last night (doesnt come out here until may 6) the writer and the director were there at the film and had a Q&A. it was awsome
Damn, I'm not even this big Scream fan, and one of the trailers looked pretty good. So I thought, you know, like that Ghostbusters game that came out a few years ago. Maybe it's been long enough since the last one, the writing will actually be good, and this might be an entertaining movie. Guess I'm lucky that I suddenly can't afford to go to the movies.
I have seen the commercial for this a few times on TV, i don't know why but everytime i see commercial for this movie it feels like this movie was some kind of parody or something . To me atleast, i was actually expecting that this is a comedy from the promos, even near its release. this might sound weird but its true. I haven't seen the movie though.
This film has been getting mixed reviews so far. I mean right now it is getting a 61% by critics, BUT thats actually pretty good for a horror film after the year 2000, as after that it has been very rare to get over a 30%. It is better then Scream 3 i suppose?
Wow... Lets see you guys make a movie... and I don't even think you guys could even make a better movie and you are not a TRUE fan. I've been waiting for this movie since September, and I'm 30 (I need a life lmfao) Point taking, your podcast sucks and I gave a dislike. :)
@SamuelGarden What a very nice thing to say!!! Thanks for the positive feedback. So from that comment (LEts see you make a movie) You have never had an opinion on a movie being bad, have never said "That movie stinks?!" I was a true fan of the first one. Did you see this movie?? How do you know you will like it? You may love it but so defensive over a movie you haven't seen. Appreciate the passion and you have hurt our podcast feelings. He just cried.
@schmoesknow Your welcome, and i'm not trying to be rude. All I am saying is that some people have been waiting for awhile, just like me. And to say this movie sucks.. it's not the best review to give someone who wants to see this movie. And discrimination about someone's character? And if you want me to make a movie i'd be glad to make one, but im sorry that I have a REAL job, not making videos on youtube for living. ;)
@SamuelGarden You are right, this is all we do actually. I wait for the alarm to ring, Mark pops out from the box I keep him in, the flip cam comes out like a tool from Batman, the poster drops down and then we shoot the review and then I have no purpose in life, no job, no wife, nothing. I am worthless, I REVIEW MOVIES ON YOUTUBE!! OH NO! Your comment was a wake up call, like a AA meeting. I am off to be a lawyer! Thanks Sam! You rock tits!
@schmoesknow You are not worthless and im glad that you are going to be a lawyer (sounds fun), I'm just saying that if you were a true, true fan you wouldn't say this, and we have different opinions, and thats okay.
And maybe you take movies to a different view from what I think, but all I know is that any movie that took time and effort deserves a positive review. :)
@SamuelGarden See this is where we disagree. I feel that if someone is going to charge people 14.00 of their hard earned money, that they are at the mercy of said viewers opinions.
So your saying we should like a film if the director took alot of time to make it, and even if its completely terrible, for example, THE LAST AIRBENDER, the director took alot of time developing the CGI, the "acting" of the kids and more, but the film was SHIT, and the worst of the year.
@SamuelGarden Every movie ever made takes time and effort that doesn't mean they're good. There are countless movies that are HORRIBLE and do not deserve a good review by any means. Time and effort don't mean shit if the result is bad. Oh the poor people who had to work for months shooting it and everything, just tell them the movie is good so they don't feel bad... They should realize that movies are about creating something worthwhile, not filling out a sheet with their opening weekend profits
@SamuelGarden so you're basically saying that the people who waited for the Star Wars prequels (actually 16 years) liked them. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh that is SUCH a TRUE statement... keep you're ignorant comments to yourself idiot.
@SamuelGarden hey chodus? just because you like a movie dosnt mean it deserves a good review? i dont give a shit if uve waited 5 years for this it still dosn't instantly deserve a high rating! go back to ur "real Job" and stop trolling around you fag! oh and P.S stop adding smiley faces to all you posts.......no ones smiling about anything........ok :)
wow, your 30 and you actually think THIS is what they do for a living? wow..im 16 and I am smart enough to say that, these guys do not waste time and sit doing nothing after w.e job or responsibility they have, they thought of reviewing movies in their spare time. I mean im just guessing but I think I am very close to what their lifestyle is, which is very similiar to most youtube sensations. :p
@SamuelGarden well then why are u commenting? Some people have jobs too and the schmoes are letting us know from thier opinion if its worth spending money on so all our hard work wont be a waste.
@SamuelGarden Im a true Avatar the last airbender fan and the live action movie sucked terribly. you can be a fan of movie and hate the sequel or how ever many sequels there is.
@SamuelGarden You're a Scream fan and you're not pissed they didn't end it at the second one? A terrible movie is a terrible movie. Unlike you though I won't be a PUNK and try to put your whole life down because we have a difference of opinion. Guys, your podcasts rock. As for you Samuel Garden, I doubt with the obnoxious way you have presented yourself anyone is waiting for your review videos.
everytime they say a new generation i feel old cause im conflicted ,am i old cause i saw scream one or am i old cause im old enough not to care who the teen stars are hmm
you could see this movie would suck from a mile away and Harloff if you don't like horror movies why would you wast e your money on this crap and not on insidious which is actually well made
@InsaneBurger Easy answer my friend, didn't have to pay for this and would have had to shell out dough for Insidious. BUT I will see Insidious when it is out on Blu Ray, I swear!
Peculiar question I know, but can you guys sit through the original 'Scream' without immediately thinking of the original 'Scary Movie'? I don't think it's possible anymore.
@schmoesknow........kristian and Mark, you made my day! ! I hope this doesn't start an onslaught of requests for you, but thank you guys, seriously awesome of you!, made my month, as always best reviewers ever. im going to listen to RATT now..
schmoes!.....subscribe to my channel! okay not much of a channel and im just starting, and no live content yet, but its all movie related! besides you guys rock it would make my day.

I have to say while I was entertained, it was mostly jump scares not genuine chills and atmosphere was the main 'horror' element of this sequel.
In a way, I can see how its a fanfic type rehash of the original and it bothered me how botoxed Cox and that other lady's face was...

imdonewitit 10 months ago
@imdonewitit I watched Jeremy's review and I agree with him and I think we are summed up into his conclusion- "If you loved Scream 1 and didnt like the others you will hate this." And that is how we felt. If anything, I could maybe go to 2 out of 5 schmoes because the beginning was so fun but that is the most I will budge. I just love the first one so much and thought the humor in this ruined it.

@schmoesknow Well Scream had humor in it, it was just more subtle black comedy

imdonewitit 10 months ago
personally, i'd have liked the movie if they didnt try and make it funny, THEY KILL IT! like when the cop got stabbed and said "fuck the bruce lee shit" AS IF YOU WOULD and those sort of things just killed it. i think the writer was stuck for a story also as he pretty much copied his story fromthe first but overall it wasnt a let down i loved it. just not the comedy element
missesaskew 10 months ago
@missesaskew Ha do you mean when he said Fuck Bruce WIllis? And Yes I agree with you, the humor killed it BUT I think this is the thing. If you compare it to the first Scream, you will be very disappointed (as I was) but it seems the people who enjoyed it, took it as a comedy and had fun with it, kudos to them. I was expecting more.
schmoesknow 10 months ago
I just got back from the movie and its nice to hear that you guys feel the same way I do. I really enjoyed the first two (and even the third, for the most part) Scream movies. This one was pretty entertaining (if rented from Redbox), but not a good horror movie. The whole thing felt awkward (like Courtney Cox's botox).
*I apologize for noting Courtney Cox's obvious plastic surgery, because I think she's a beautiful woman*
Anyways.. The ending sucked and this movie was a cash-grab.

schmoesknow 10 months ago
its funny, cause i cant see a damn thing wrong with this movie, its a slasher film that makes fun of slasher films and it does that perfectly, the way they bashed Torture Porn movies and Remakes and the whole modern Horror Industry was original and they incorpated it into the plot nicelly, like how the rules changed. The movie mind fucks you throughout the whole thing, i felt the beginning and ending were brilliant and the meat of the movie held it together perfectly, for a slasher movie 5/5.
LalidatorClan 10 months ago
@LalidatorClan I think I was just expecting more thrills then humor. The first Scream was believable to me, I haven't felt the same to any of the sequels.
schmoesknow 10 months ago
@schmoesknow i think i'm gonna have to go with you on the whole believable thing, the first one seemed realistic, but this one, the killer could not play two roles for her life, i couldn't take her seriously at all. the other killer though, i liked, but he was someone i guessed from the beginning, the knew the other ones would have been too obvious, but overall, i just don't see why such a low score
LalidatorClan 10 months ago
Did we see the same movie? I respect your opinion, but I had a blast with this movie. I think all of the humor worked, but that's me. Good review, though. Gotta love the cat! (I have a feeling he wrote the upcoming PRIEST)
Rowenet 10 months ago
@Rowenet I feel he wrote that as well. In regards to Scream, honestly I don't think we saw same movie and I think that is why there are so many split opinions. Some went into this (me) expecting Scream 1 tone, disturbing but still poking jabs at the genre, others were ok with the pure farce and silly comedy and I think that is great if that is what you were ok with.
schmoesknow 10 months ago
There always seems to be a little revisionist history that goes on whenever a new Scream or Halloween or whatever comes out. People always go "Man, the first one was so good and they were mocking what other franchises become, and it's really original." Yeah, that's great, except it wasn't. I just re-watched the first scream and it was horrendous. The writing was awful as was most of the performances. It's also filled with every cliche in the book. Craven's a hack.
grindhouse141 10 months ago
@grindhouse141 As much as I agree with everything you say in this and even not being a huge fan of Craven, this movie was not his fault. The studio rammed scenes down his throat the night before they shot, a lot of drama on set, cant blame the man for that.
schmoesknow 10 months ago
How can you watch a horror movie like scream 4, yet you can't go out and watch Insidious?
drgnrdrgrl 10 months ago
@drgnrdrgrl Well Scream 4 was a franchise and we made the decision more people would want to see the review of this BUT we have had a ton of requests for Insidious. We will get a review out eventually.
schmoesknow 10 months ago
I've never disagreed with a schmoes review more than now! Just saw the film and loved it! It was fun, hilarious, and scary. It didn't take itself seriously and I had a great time! It has its flaws...But it's WAY better than what you guys give it credit for.
CAK11891 10 months ago
@CAK11891 CAK, hey opinions are totally respected here in Schmoeville. Very glad you enjoyed the film. I didn't find it scary per se and thought there was too much Transformers2 humor but hey to each his own, glad you had a fun time with it!

20tom09gt 10 months ago

There's too many girls in this movie. I am a horror chick and I don't even know ONE other girl who knows horror movies well enough to chat with me about them. Let alone 5 or 4 or whatever. . . ANYWAYS I think the original Scream trilogy was actually good. A scary movie for people who like movies [I hate to admit this, but I pretty much am Jamie Kennedy's character] There are not a lot of trilogy's that can live past the tragic third film, and Wes Craven achieved that. Than he went and F'd it up.

Wow I guess I REALLY disagree with you guys on this. It's not the classic original and not a great film but I really liked it. I agree the humor didn't hit. But I felt like it kept up the tension. I was REALLY distracted by several huge logic errors (the police force in Woodboro make Barney Fife looks like Jason Bourne) and I felt Sydney (who has written a book about empowerment) seemed weak and a little stupid (why do people in the movies NEVER think to call 911?) but I was never bored.
aragon131 10 months ago
@aragon131 thats the way i feel
SoppingOyster 10 months ago

Adrien Brody may have coaxed me into the cinema to see this.
welshfilmbuff 10 months ago
The fact that this film has a 15 certificate in the U.K (when the other three were rated 18), tells you that this franchise needs a blood transfusion or better still, be cut off from life suport all together.
welshfilmbuff 10 months ago
I went to see Gigli back in 2003 and farted on purpose.
welshfilmbuff 10 months ago
The fact that a guy was farting next to Harloff is hysterical. It reminds me of the time I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and the guy behind me threw a whole bucket of popcorn up in the air after being scared early in the film. I've never laughed so hard in my life.

This film has been getting mixed reviews so far. I mean right now it is getting a 61% by critics, BUT thats actually pretty good for a horror film after the year 2000, as after that it has been very rare to get over a 30%. It is better then Scream 3 i suppose?

SamuelGarden 10 months ago
@SamuelGarden What a very nice thing to say!!! Thanks for the positive feedback. So from that comment (LEts see you make a movie) You have never had an opinion on a movie being bad, have never said "That movie stinks?!" I was a true fan of the first one. Did you see this movie?? How do you know you will like it? You may love it but so defensive over a movie you haven't seen. Appreciate the passion and you have hurt our podcast feelings. He just cried.
schmoesknow 10 months ago 21
@schmoesknow Your welcome, and i'm not trying to be rude. All I am saying is that some people have been waiting for awhile, just like me. And to say this movie sucks.. it's not the best review to give someone who wants to see this movie. And discrimination about someone's character? And if you want me to make a movie i'd be glad to make one, but im sorry that I have a REAL job, not making videos on youtube for living. ;)
SamuelGarden 10 months ago
@SamuelGarden You are right, this is all we do actually. I wait for the alarm to ring, Mark pops out from the box I keep him in, the flip cam comes out like a tool from Batman, the poster drops down and then we shoot the review and then I have no purpose in life, no job, no wife, nothing. I am worthless, I REVIEW MOVIES ON YOUTUBE!! OH NO! Your comment was a wake up call, like a AA meeting. I am off to be a lawyer! Thanks Sam! You rock tits!
schmoesknow 10 months ago 15
@schmoesknow You are not worthless and im glad that you are going to be a lawyer (sounds fun), I'm just saying that if you were a true, true fan you wouldn't say this, and we have different opinions, and thats okay.
And maybe you take movies to a different view from what I think, but all I know is that any movie that took time and effort deserves a positive review. :)
SamuelGarden 10 months ago
@SamuelGarden See this is where we disagree. I feel that if someone is going to charge people 14.00 of their hard earned money, that they are at the mercy of said viewers opinions.

So your saying we should like a film if the director took alot of time to make it, and even if its completely terrible, for example, THE LAST AIRBENDER, the director took alot of time developing the CGI, the "acting" of the kids and more, but the film was SHIT, and the worst of the year.
imdetamilboy 10 months ago
@SamuelGarden Every movie ever made takes time and effort that doesn't mean they're good. There are countless movies that are HORRIBLE and do not deserve a good review by any means. Time and effort don't mean shit if the result is bad. Oh the poor people who had to work for months shooting it and everything, just tell them the movie is good so they don't feel bad... They should realize that movies are about creating something worthwhile, not filling out a sheet with their opening weekend profits
