Amatuer with great view of half bald audience member taking up about 3/4 of screen. No close up of neil. Clearly shot from a seat. How'd that happen? All the times I've seen him, it's no cameras, flashes, camcorders.
Dennis St John left the Neil Diamond in 1981 after co producing the album "On the Way to the Sky". I think he left due to artistic differences. Neil replaced him with Ron Tutt who by the way first played drums for Elvis and later Roy Orbison.
Not a fan of this arrangement at all! The power of this song was always the build up, the plateau and then the nice finish. You take that out with a fast start like in this video and the song is just a bastardized version.
Loved this live version of "Holly Holy," which opened the MSG shows. The new songs were excellent also - very sophisticated lyrics with rich guitar driven melodies.
I was there! 4th row baby! Awesome show, thanks for posting this so quick! Wish that dude's head wasn't in the way when he first comes out on stage! LOL.
Wow! I am getting chills just watching!
