  • this is way far more than delicious, it's like the cake of those ancient greek gods by combining the orange blossom with the orange juice and the swettie meringue and chocolate woooow!!!!! hey and happy birthday to your channel!!!

  • Congratulations on your 2nd Youtube anniversary Alia and thank you for sharing those lovely recipes with us. I live in Australia and miss the middle eastern recipes.

  • YUMMY!!!

  • Your not suppost to pass the yolk through the egg shells because there might be bacteria or even feces on the egg shell and they might transfer them to your egg whites.. Just let the egg whites fall through your fingers while you hold on the the egg yolk.

  • congratulations!! I have to check out your cook book for sure. good luck and god belss.

  • Congratulations on your two-year anniversary on YouTub and thank you for all the great recipes.

  • Looks great!!!

  • Shouldn't you cook the eggs somehow? Is it safe to eat without cooking the eggs

CONGRATS on your 2nd anniversary AND 2 million views and new book.

  • @catsmew Thats what I thought

I have always been told never to eat raw cookie dough because it can make you sick o.O

But maybe the orange zest does something to it

  • @ValleyGurlFrmHell Orange zest does nothing to kill the salmonella bacteria in the egg itself. 3 suggestions for those who aren't used to eating foods made with raw eggs. 1) build up your immunity by eating small amounts of food with raw eggs and work your way up gradually, spaced apart, maybe up to 3 times a month, 2) drink something hot to help kill the bacteria after eating the raw-egg product, 3) use only the freshest eggs possible from a reputable supplier when making a raw-egg dish.

  • @ValleyGurlFrmHell Also, do a quick Google search for 'pasteurized raw eggs'. there are tips on reducing one's chances of getting a food-borne illness due to salmonella by using pre-pasteurized eggs from the store. you can also pasteurize eggs at home, but you have to follow the time and temperature directions word-for-word to properly do it... or else the egg would end up being hard-boiled.

  • @rkmugen

I agree with all the points above. Many french pastries call for raw eggs (chocolate mousse, etc.) it is not as common in the U.S. but using fresh, organic, pasteurized eggs should be fine.

  • @catsmew the chances of you getting sick from raw eggs is very slim. If you have a compromised immune system you do have a higher chance but as long as you are relatively healthy and have fresh eggs that were not received cracked, you should be fine. We eat raw cookie dough(and raw cake batter and raw brownie batter) constantly and we are still alive and kicking!

  • major YUM!!!

  • congrats on everything!

  • I recently discovered you! awesome stuff!

  • Super cool music, thanks for the great videos too.
