  • thanks for posting...it seems you love your trees...I`ll do some figs in greece as well!

  • cuando es la fecha ideal para podar las higueras?

cuando es la fecha mejor para reproducir las higfueras?

    g r a c i a s

  • That's so great they survived! I took some maple tree cuttings a week or so ago and they look wilted and dead but this has given me hope, thankyou :)

  • how are your transplants doing?

  • @onewish1nj71 All of them died. Garden did awful this year, too. Look out for world-wide famines. The world is about done. Jesus is coming back. Repent if you want to be saved.

  • @field16 So because you're garden did awful, that signifies the end of the world? Come on bro...

  • @buyerofsorts Do you have eyes? Do you look at the world around you? It's hardly just my garden. It's much worse else where. You have to be asleep to not see what's happening.

Wars, collapsing economies, tsunamis, nuclear power plant explosions, floods, volcanoes, earthquakes, hail, tornadoes, disease, famines; escalation of sin/crimes: murder, theft, adultery, lies...

I am sheltered and blessed where I am, but even I can see that the rest of the world is not.

  • @field16 But all that stuff has been happening forever. And a lot worse than it is now a lot of times. If you have eyes, crack open some history books. Do you know what the difference is between whats all going on now and whats always been going on? The difference is now we have massive media access to it all so it appears that things are a lot worse. By the way, I have a garden and its thriving better than ever....

  • @buyerofsorts Compare what is socially acceptable then and now. Look at movies, TV, and internet videos. You will many scenes glamorizing adultery, murder, theft... all the sins, which previous generations did not do. "Entertainment" has changed significantly. People have become numb to sin, unlike previous generations. Society has become so corrupt. That is why Jesus must return.

  • @field16 Well I won't argue with you. Who knows, maybe you and people like you are right about this whole Jesus thing. Who am I to say no? Well, happy planting. :)

  • @buyerofsorts Thank you. :-) It's a good idea to not argue against Jesus. After all, he did teach peace, love, and kindness. He never led a rebellion or war. But he himself was tortured and murdered by the rulers. If the world had listened to him, war would be obsolete and we would all be safer and happier. But the world did not listen to him, for the most part, and actually hates him. I think it's because those people don't want to stop their evil ways.

    Peace to you.

  • I heard when you take a cutting from any fruit tree that it won't produce fruit. Is this true, I hope it's not. because my neighbor has a big lemon tree and my grandma has a fig tree and I want to make cuttings. I would like to know if any of your cuttings or anybodies cuttings produced fruit. Please let me know so I don't do it for nothing. I don't care if it takes a few years to produce. and another thing would peach tree cuttings work to. I'm only 16 but I love the thought of making plants.

  • @fob9500 God bless you for starting gardening at a young age. I suspect that the cuttings from a fruit tree should produce fruit, but I have not observed this myself. I have had trouble with the fig tree propagation due to poor weather. It's tough gardening in the end times.

  • cool :)

  • what is the brand of the camcorder??? very nice image quality

  • nice i hope my is looking good as your LOL

  • @sugerbear520 Yeah I noticed that baby fig plant in your greenhouse. Good luck with it.

  • nice job keep it going they look good

  • i have a monkey puzzle tree only a few years old and quite small, can i still do this with a small tree and do you have to put it in water?

  • Thanx for sharing this video you did a good job!

I will definitely try it :)

  • try putting a small fish tank or something over the clones during winter

  • @starshock01 I like your tip. Thanks.

  • if you cut the (new growth) branch "with" the crease under a bulb, you may have faster success and if you can make some willow water just dip them in and stick them in the ground and water! I am in texas and the summers are brutal here but the figs love it!

  • @Michaelleger77 Thanks for those tips. I would like to try both of your suggestions in the future, maybe next summer. Enjoy those figs in Texas.

  • Fresh figs are so good!! I remember as a young kid raiding a tree in my friends backyard, what a wonderful feast... yummy.

  • @pgm98387 Glad to know you like figs, too, and as a kid no less. Lucky kid! I didn't taste my first fresh fig until I was an adult, bought my property, and grew them myself.

  • I need one of those transplants and the figs.

  • @wtam69 Hi, well I could send you a transplant in the mail next spring. The variety I have produces fruit in the fall so you need a climate that has a late frost date. I think you would need a different variety of fig tree to match your northern climate. There are many varieties to choose from... different colors, different growing habits and different fruiting times. Thanks for watching.
