and china's undergoing the same stage of growth as america did during the industrial revolution. do you KNOW how much pollution the industrial revolution contributed to the world? the only difference being that back then, environmentalists never existed to point fingers at america for ruining the world. but now china's trying to grow just like america once did and you're saying CHINA is polluting YOUR air?

China should invest some of it trillion dollar reserves into more renewable energy sources and nuclear so it doesnt have to use so much coal. If not, give it time and there'll be entire cities dying of thirst and there'll be famine again.

If China must solve this pollution problem, i think the first thing they should do is ban all highly oil consumption car like Ferrari, BMW, Mercs, Dodge, Ford (of course for those model huge consumption of oil), since China rarely make those high end car, I think is at China's best interest. But will the western countries make noise in WTO?

Look, i am not from China, I did not say China not at fault for producing pollution, but be fair, China is a developing country, in order to feed her population already a big problem, if China able to bring all her ppl out of poverty, do u know how much the world poverty rate is going to drop? Besides, all the western countries has been industrize for century, they pollute the world for 100 yrs+, it just last time they did not hit the limitation of the earth. China join in 30 yrs ago, and now the limit has been reached, China at fault? aren't those developed industrize countries play a larger part of polluting the world? Aren't those countries have better resource (tech and cash) in solving the problem? If China agree to solve the problem, will u provide tech free?

can u tell me who make the highest oil consumption car in this world. Mostly USA, look at Ford, Dodge, u can easily find a car than have 5.0L V8, do u know why Japanese car doing so well in term of sales, is because they know how to make a low oil consump vehicle. I was in US before, i know many American like to drive big car, if it is not because of the oil price, they will continue this habit, on the road, u western countries already a big polluter.

westerner always try to blame China for polluting the world, however, the biggest polluter in the world now is USA, and even China overpass USA as the world biggest polluter, China has 1.3 billion ppl and USA has less than half the population, is still explanable if China has twice as much as polution that USA has created. Besides, USA is a developed nation, why use trillion to go war, why not using a few hundred billion in clearing pollution, rather than always pointing fingers at others
