  • awesome video thanks!!

  • @TylerS500Lorinser - Thanks!

  • I got a Roland gr20 ... U R all dat bro

  • @MichaelAngeloSanders - OOOOH! Thanks man! Ya know, I was re-reading my GR-30 manual the other day, I had never considered the "Local Off" as another method for better tracking. Since the unit is not triggering any samples - it may track better.

  • Fantastic plaing and tracking! I didn't quite catch your tuning explanation. What are your open strings tuned to (up an octive?) and what gauge strings are you using? Thanks.

  • @audiotrax2000 - Hey there. What I was saying was that if you dedicate a guitar to just being a midi controller, then you should put 6 heavy "B" strings on it, and adjust the strings to the pitch you want in the unit. The VG-8 lets you do this as well. This way tracks the low notes better.

  • I enjoyed the first video so much I sat through both of them. You're a great player. And the KRONOS sounds like my M3. KARMA comes in very handy in the studio. I think it will

be hard to control from a guitar though.

  • @louparte1 - Thanks for the kind words. The best thing about using KARMA with guitar controller is that you just hold a chord - and the rest is gravy!

  • LOL I love your studio

If no one saw your guitars and GR-stuff or midi guitar stuffs, one would guess that you're a keyboardist lol.

I wish I could play guitar.

Someday, I hope us keyboardists (and keytarists) can eventually do the opposite of what you're doing ('playing guitar' on a keyboard/keytar - a good preset and/or bank of funky, clean guitar)

Anyway, I love your playing... Although the clav sounded weird when you did chords. (Sorry, I OCD when I hear clavs do obscure things)

  • @pie213 - Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm getting ready to do another video in a bit.

  • I totally dig this man. This is way cool.
