Its not to be denied, those that wished to remove Hitler were nationalist and were socialist, but they were not Nazis. People these days find it hard to empathize with the Germany of the war. Nazis or not, many every-day Germans voted for Hitler and helped him into power. Germany was a relatively new democracy at the the time of the 1930s depression. Many lost faith with the democratic ideals and wanted a return to autocracy. That's where Hitler slipped into the spot-light. Question; Do men make the times or do the times make the men? I think both are possible, but in the case of Herr Hitler it was the latter!

Russland hat Deutschland schon damals angeboten eine Wiedervereinigung der BRD und der DDR zu ermöglichen und das komplette Reich im Osten inkl. Königsberg zurückzugeben.

Die einzige Bedingung war das das neue/alte deutsche Reich hätte neutral bleiben müssen, also nicht der NATO beitreten.

Westdeutschland hat damals abgelehnt.
