  • Brilliant vid!

  • I like your content but the multicolor backdrop is spectacular!

  • the account that hosted the angry gay people video has been suspended..

  • james4582 you seem like your a redundant idiot, but I'm sure your an asshole.

  • you seem like a pretty smart guy but i think your a asshole.

  • Yeah, the shit you post is way better, douchebag... massage tips and tricks? this is probably the wrong side of youtube for you, search: I like turtles. That's more your speed.

  • Am I the only one who wonders if maybe Scientology is a mock religion, like the Church of FSM? Maybe they all know its made up but they want to expose the hatred most people feel towards others with differing belief systems. Maybe when lots of people call Scientologists crazy they just laugh and acknowledge it.

  • Love to Pundit*lol*

  • Loved the vid.

I'd like to go to that Christmas event to sounds like a hella fun lol. (pun intended *cough)

  • Buddhism belongs in a different category (though many of us do practice it as a religion). Buddhism is an ideology -- no leap of faith required. Pure logic.

  • In your fantasy

Buddhism is extremely complex, superstitious and ritualistic.

Youe pure logic is a school of thought in most religions inc budh christ islam hindu jain judaic .

  • An integral part of the Buddhist monastic tradition is debate. Students must debate each other and their teachers, attempting to find any flaw in the logic of the dharma. In thousands of years, it hasn't been done. I'm not sure where you got your information about Buddhism. As a practicing (daily) Buddhist I can assure you there is no leap of faith required.

  • In a famous conversation/debate with Carl Sagan, HH the Dalai Lama was asked: What if one day science proves that everything you believe in is wrong? HHDL answered (with a smile, because really it's a stupid question if you know anything about Buddhism): Then Buddhism will change.

  • WHich is to say he is an opportunist.

DL is a from a feudalist theocracy and plays politics for his own reasons; but the reality of buddhism for centuries and today in east asia and tibet especially is gross superstition.

  • I re-assert the facts: Buddhism is an ideology, not a religion. There is no belief in a creator God. Should anyone ever find a flaw in the logic of the dharma, our leader has advised us that our ideology will change accordingly.

  • Right , so all those floaty buddhas in the sky are logical and philosphical floaty buddhas ; and the book of the dead is a logical treatise?

Of course there is the arument that communism [ an ideology ] is realy a religion.

[I am looking my small collestion of Tibetan] art.]

  • Is it possible that your perception is not all-encompassing? Might there be more to consciousness than you understand/perceive?

  • QUITE RIGHT , but that is not what 'facts on the ground' budhism is like ; yours is an elitist western educated and liberal view and I agree with you about the essentials , but it important to recognise that all religions are their adherants ; the sayings 'true buddhism ' or True Islam defy the grindingly superstitious peasant reality of religions and humanity that invents them.

I see religion as the corpses of eternally reincarnating spirituality, truth ; you are clearly a disciple of that.

  • You've made a lot of assumptions about me. I have a high school diploma, then went to two years of paramedic school and fire academy. The eastern Buddhists that I know are substantially more educated than I am, in particular, they understand the dharma better than I do.

  • The point I was making is this: "reality" (as we know it) is consciousness driven, not the other way around. Are dreams real?

  • The religion is actually very regional.

Korean and Japanese form's are radically different from south asian forms , central asian forms and american forms.

I am very sympathetic to what you say , but I have dealings with many 'workingclass ' buddhists and they ignore the essential and esoteric principles ; but adhere 'religiously' to their local superstitions .

In Aus most of the convert aussie budhists seem to have drug issues.

And as for non-harm and meditation , they don't!

  • It's my understanding that all Buddhism flows from the Four Noble Truths. Granted, plenty of people are poor adherents. I have not done the fact checking that is expected of Buddhists (at least in my tradition).

However, this still doesn't make Buddhism a religion. The fact that many people don't do what's expected of them doesn't negate the discipline.

Similarly, many atheists haven't done the work either; they simply disbelieve in a visceral way.

  • Likewise, there are scientists who do sloppy work. This in no way invalidates the scientific method; it simply means they're flawed humans.

  • Well I guess you are saying that you are not buddhist in the religious sence , but the religion known as buddhism is a very real phenomina with all the siliness and nastiness that religion expresses generally.

The Vedic philosophies are all as you say , but they have adopted , like drag , by religious types for the motives that they have.

Perhaps philosophy and ideology is where you are??

The discipline is rare., the religion is common.

Some people make a religion of anything!

  • Technically I guess I am a "religious" Buddhist, in that I haven't done all the recommended debate and intellectual examination. I trust in my teachers, which is what they tell you not to do.

And I agree -- people will make a religion of just about anything.

  • What do you make of prayer wheels used in tibetan buddhism?

  • I like prayer wheels. A rather creative way of generating positive intent. I've had an idea for a technological version of same using computer disks packed with mantras. They spin very, very fast, can hold an almost immeasurable number of mantras, and can keep spinning for quite a long time.

  • Makes me happy I live were I do, we have metro trains with these big ass signs that say "Why believe in god? Just be good for doones' sake" and when people starting winning the train company just told em to deal with it and didn't take em down.

  • Bill O'relly is a very big cunt. A hipocryt and has duble standards. But the worst is that he at first seems a nice guy(some times)

Respect for the current video. It gave me inspiration for a article here in Romania.

  • I can't stand how religious people rag on scientologists, like their own religion isn't any less wacky.

  • Problem is Scientology is government funded through different programs and has a better tax exemption than other religions. Scientology is something I do not want to pay for. Scilons claim the success of their programs for criminals and drug addicts to be over 90%. This has now been fully disproven and in fact shows that doing nothing is better than doing a Scientology program. This to me is worse since its a full out scam and tax dollars are paying for it.

  • I don't think we should make fun of someone's private beliefs, but once you make them public they are fair game.

The best part about that is, if you don't make it public, then it will be impossible to make fun of, because nobody will know you believe that.

  • I think it's pretty obvious the Mormons got pissed and reported it.

  • Oh man i agree with you 100% on wanting to go see all the religions bid for peoples souls all at the same time, would be some damn good comedy. Vegas street corners come close, but they dont have all of them...well usually just the christian nutters.

  • That sounds like a great idea for a tv show. Kinda like hardball or something, but mediated.

  • There is nothing in existence outside ridicule. Once you make a thought public it is open season on it. You have the right to hold a belief and I have the right to tell you why it's stupid.

  • High five!

  • Great video man

  • people should know that everyone will hear/say swears. People should also realize that no matter what everything will be critisised and/or made fun of. And if they try to stop it, the more people will WANT to make fun of it, thats the way of life.Oh and good vid

  • good vid, Respect

  • I couldn't agree more. Religion needs to be set in its place over in America.

  • Islam and Scientology are untouchable here. They own YouTube and most of the world.

  • peace man

  • What the fuck? They can't pull a video for language.

  • Let me clarify that, as a business, Google can do whatever the fuck it wants with its service. However, I am not aware of any guidelines that say we should watch our language or get our videos pulled.

  • have you seen youtubes new policys?

videos can now be flagged for profanity and theyve also tightened up on things that are sexually suggestive.

that and its obvious youtube never checks the videos that get flagged anyway and just removes videos when they get flagged to many times

  • cheers!

  • Sucks about your video getting pulled.

  • first =P
