hey, i have always had this and thought it was normal? is this def abnormal?? i realized it when i wash face or put lotion on it does that. is it a disease or somethin?
@Lynnieburd Hey Lynnieburd, It's actually typically seen with decreased calcium causing the facial nerve to be hyper-excitable. But in class (I'm a medical student) we learned that it is actually normal in 1/100 to 1/200 individuals with normal blood calcium. I'm very healthy and nothing has ever shown up in in of my medical labs that would make me think that I had low calcium. So I'm just one of those random people that twitch and you might be too.
