hey,

just fold the scarf in half, then put the halved scarf sideways behind your neck, and put the cut end through the folded end, and tighten it or fluff it up as per your choice. Enjoy ; )

I didn't see a difference either but I think it might be cause her hair already had volume in it...or maybe for different hair types you should put more rollers or leave them on for a longer period of time. It's still an interesting method to try and I'll give it a try some time.

You might remind everyone that it also helps A LOT if you have shorter layers cut near the crown of your head. If you have really long hair, the weight will weigh it down and you won't get that same amount of volume. I have the same haircut as you do and I know when my hair was longer, it was almost impossible to get volume in that area without teasing it! :)
