John 3:16 "For God so loved the world", not the Earth, has nothing to do with global warming. However if you really believe the Bible, you should be more concerned with the issues that it does address, like Mark 16:15 "And He said unto them. Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature". Or 1st Timothy 6:20 "O Timothy, keep that which is commited to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of SCIENCE FALSELY SO CALLED".

@jjaz728 The word used is in that verse is "world" and in the original Greek is kosmos/cosmos. the meaning in Strong's Concordance is "adorning, world".

In the dictionary "a : universe 1 b (1) : an orderly harmonious systematic universe — compare chaos (2) : order, harmony 2: a complex orderly self-inclusive system ". That verse is saying God loved His creation. Yes, that includes the souls he created and "the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now" Rom 8:22
