IF I was fresh, and IF I was having a good day, and IF it was 50 degrees out, then I would have a chance of matching Chrissie's time during a Kona IM marathon. What an athlete!
i was thinking the same thing. i think it looks like a forefoot strike first, but it's very subtle. i had to watch the video about 10 times to even see it.
three fucking loosers - what stupid comments, who cares what part of her foot hit the ground first - her chest broke the tape........go away dum pricks
I am learning to run, so I want to see what part of the foot of elite runners hit the floor first, and what I can not understand is your reaction to that,
Any human being that say looser to other human is a looser himself, I would sugest you to look for help so you can enjoy life, instead of ruin it, and not hurt yourself and others
papanbgizrigs .... ignore gunthernorman (tool!) the part of your foot hitting the floor first will be a little bit dictated by your shoes and your body position. Don't force the forefoot run. Lean a very little bit forward and look for a long push off at the back. That will help your foot strike underneath your body which is a good thing as it stops the 'brake' effect of a foot strike in front of you. Check out this run analysis

I guarantee Chrissie is a better runner than anyone that has just posted, including myself.
