I don't understand why the people at Toyota make a big fuzz that the Venza is something unique, it's just a mid-size SUV based on the Camry platform. The Venza is too wide and the tire sizes are getting ridiculously big.
I bought one 1 week ago, i love it. don't know why you are all complainning about, oh yeh... you're all just jelous u have to drive your moms cars.. :>
If you test drive one after driving a Buick Enclave, you'll never buy one. It rides like a shopping cart with wooden wheels. Not very quiet either. Also over priced. It's not a horrible car, just forgettable.
@timmyblackboy62 Thanks for your comments. You are correct, the Enclave is more money. We have nothing against Toyota. We have had several and presently have a Rav 4 as well. But we bought a 2010 Enclave because it was really quiet and has a huge cabin. Lots of room for grandkids and for trips to the beach and golf vacations. Thanks again and good luck.

@lexusES350h Isn't rear visibility severly impeded? Those big wheels also ride harshly over road undulations, no?

@BarbaraandHarold
Good point. For many people though, fuel economy and gas price would also be a big factor.

I do not believe Venza is a counterpart of the Enclave.

It looks just like a Ford Edge in the grille? And in reality is a cheaper UGLIER version of the Lexus.
