i cant stand how the consumer canon dslr's make that squeek noise when they take a picture. i have a t3i and i wish it didnt make that squeek noise when taking pictures...

I have seen a image quality test between a 1100d and a 40d. The 1100d was better plus the 1100d has video mode and the 40d has no video mode.

@SuperMangn Well...1100D is a newer,modern version and it has better sensor and image processor than the old 40D.I had a 1000D (this one in the video) and it seemed to be a good body for starters.

@SuperMangn Also the video function is very nice on a cheap entry level camera,even if it's 720p,not 1080p,it's still handy.

@alextheromanian Salut,vad ca esti roman.Este o diferenta relativ mare intre 40D si 1000D.1000D-ul e pentru incepatori pe cand 40D tinde spre amatorii mai avansati in domeniu,dar are si 40D-ul cateva minusuri destul de urate : LCD-ul mare si slab,sincer as prefera ecranul de pe 1000D decat cel de pe 40D,la ISO mai mare de 800 apare un noise destul de urat,nu prea rezista la sensibilitati mari dar in rest e destul de ok pentru banii pe care ii dai (focus,fps etc).Acum am facut update la 7D.

@GraphicalMadnessGFX ive learnt alot more about photograhy now im only 15 and i dont know much and am still saving up for my first camera but i now know a quicker shutter speed lets less light in, which you need if your using an f stop such as 1.8 which has a big "iris" the hole in the lens that is the apperture gets bigger as you decrease the no. usually as low as 1.8 so if you have a large shutter speed such as 1/600th of a second it will let less light in making the exposure more balanced
