@graham1996 At first glance one could easily agree, but these Ekranoplanes were actually very fuel efficient and could carry more cargo than a conventional cargo jet while still travelling well over 300mph. The reasons for its failure are quite obscure but it probably comes down to the west not wanting soviet inventions.

乗組員のヘルメットがキモイ。旅客や貨物の輸送用に良いのではという話でしょうか。他の船との衝突の可能性は有りますね。飛行機より遅いが列車よりは速いです。船の様なクジラとの衝突は有りませんね。高波にぶつからなければ乗り心地は良さそうです。
