any chance you could make another one of these warm up videos cus this one is really good but would be fun to switch it. also in my 6th week of atlean x really enjoying and startin to see the results i want just want to say thanks for that. you are one hell of a genius!
I really like this warmup. I will try it on my Pt group at work, read Air Force, as right now all we do is jog in place and do jumping jacks and what not as a warmup. It looks challenging, and even somewhat fun, but it definitely fits my goals of trying to get my group of people in better overall shape rather than just running, pushups and situps. Love your program, and hope to participate fully after my ankle injury is figured out by the docs.
Hey guys....an obvious point I should have pointed out in the video but....YES, YOU DEFINITELY DO THIS ON BOTH LEGS! Give it a try and see which side is better!
@JDCav24 Hey Jeff, I wanted to just ask a quick question, im 126lbs presently, and was thinking about buying your program, but will it only work for bigger bodied people or will it build me up as well? Im a small guy and don't really have weight to lose but only gain, \what would you recommend?
I`m mid 40`s,had distil bicep surgury, but I`ve ordered your program because the things you said on athlean.tv -"resting in when your muscles grow, working out every day is just wrong(P90X)","you get out what you put in, your body will never change shape if you do the same exercises all the time"" studies prove constant treadmill use and elipitcals are counter productive", "dieting is short term eating right is long term", Thanks for motivating me, man, I`ve been letting myself go for too long
@xc8759 of course you do both legs. unless you wanna have one warmed up and one not warmed up. thats just gonna put all the risk of injury onto one leg lol
Will def try this now when I start working out again.. Sitting to much in the studio makin music. Lost alot of weight. Need to get back to the gym and gain some weight (muscle).
hey jeff what can you recomend to gain muscle? im using your program and ive lost body fat but i dont really see improvements on muscle gain, by the way you are getting popular in the north of mexico
great video, most people thinks that stretching is enough to warm up
@RIP2zone I am not Jeff of course but I am using the program as well and I noticed the most muscle gain after about 60-70 days. My fat percentage was already relatively low though, so what may be happening is your body is burning fat initially and then starting to gain muscle through the workouts. The lower the fat, USUALLY the more the muscle will show. Other than that, I will leave this one to Jeff lol.
@RIP2zone Ok so you started at 218 and lost body fat but are now at 231? So if you truly lost body fat, this would be a good sign. I imagine some difference ought to be there. Did you take photos for your own record or record a trail video?
@RIP2zone Well I would say since you gain weight fast those are all pretty good signs of success. If you keep the general meals up and continue doing the workouts you will most likely start getting a steady increase in muscle growth. I still haven't plateaued in terms of how my body looks. The muscle confusion principle seems to work pretty well. I will have to keep going and see how good of shape I can get it.
@thespecter2 if you keep the meal plans and the workouts you will get the results maybe you will get ripped fast, one advice something that have worked for me is doing 5-10 10 yards sprints in the sand it helps me with the recovery and i feel stronger, stay strong and never give up to the hard work
@RIP2zone How is that possible? You say you lost body fat and gained 13lbs! in 80 days! That is obviously not 100% lean muscle.. You haven't been following the meal plan have you?>
@izakaru009 i have the tendency to gain wheight fast it works well im a DE (im playing at college level), and about the meal plans is easy to follow it im actually living in the north of mexico (chihuahua) and fruits and vegetables are cheaper than in US. i also get surprised about the results but it has been helping me a lot i have more explosive power (in terms of pass rush)
The having to balance part got my heart rate up really fast, haha

how come on one of your shoulders, your vein pops out but not on the other shoulder? BTW, great video !

@shanny064 Veins aren't meant to be symmetrical.
buckuni 1 year ago
@shanny064 genetics, not all veins are placed in the exact same spots!
barthelfitness 1 year ago
@shanny064
A lot of people have the same thing, me for example. I have a vein only on my left shoulder and as much as I try, there isn't one on my right.
Another example, Lamar Odom of the L.A. Lakers who has a very big, noticeable vein on one of his shoulder but not both, and he's a pro athlete.
