OMG there is no spider man 4 with carnage. There is another spider man movie coming out but it starts out from the beginning with spider man and green goblin. There remaking it because they screwed up the 2 and 3 spider man movie. When you introduce Venom you have to also introduce carnage or have a cliffhanger at the end so you know that venom is still alive but it also give time to bring in a new villein which would be carnage.

Actually, they're doing a reboot because it's a different writing team. Like the "Hulk" & "The Incredible Hulk" movies.

Furthermore, Venom appeared WAY before Carnage in the comics - and for a while before Carnage showed up, it was thought the symbiote was dead.
