i have a siberian husky that was named kota before we got her. her name is sasha now. shes hasnt howled once yet and she is 5 months about to be 6 months

They need exercise like no other dog, they love mischief thats why most owners have some kind of pen in their garden.
They are pack animals and the closest to wolves as you can get, they were bred from wolves and the Inuits bred them to be friendly, they bred them so well they are unbelievable friendly. They love kids as the Inuits kept them with them @ night.

Mine used to find ways out of the fenced-in yard when he was a pup, leap the fence or something and disappear, then come back a couple hours later. Every time I'd go search for him, never once did I find him, but he always came home unharmed thank God. Once someone told me he saw him playing alone in the cemetary (where I'd walk him), another time when I was walking him a group of young girls told me he escaped to play with them once
Yeah, mine bleeds all over the house during her heat cycle too, and she is a chew-fiend. But if you love them it doesn't really matter, your ex sounds like a douche to me.
Well my oldest female got fixed really young... not even a year old (I know she never went through heat so...) and she is VERY calm.
Were you playing a high pitch sound in the background? I heard a high pitch when he stopped howling. I don't think dogs like high pitches like that I'm not sure. I do it to my cat but he starts getting all affectionate when I play it.
