it looks like there are 12 x 4 spins and 2TB drives, what RAID level? IOps.. suppose about 300 per drive, so 13-14k IOps for this array in RAID0 (excluding controller cache).
Ok, this is bullshit. A Megabyte is commonly expressed as "MB", both letters being capitalized. A Megbit is expressed as "Mb". Notice the lower case b.
have you ever used a raid 0 array in windows? i bet not, my throughput / iops is so high on just 2 x250drives and 4 gigs ram that it only takes a few minutes. you sir really need to get an education or some real hands on experience
@seanbck310 WHAT PLANET THE FUCK ARE YOU FROM? 99.999% of all enterprise environments and setups is based on the best i/o best redundancy and best reliability, them fast drives u don't want or care are called SAS drives and its all whats used in professional environments.
Now go play with your budget consumer grade cheap ass hardware and slow as hell SATA drives my friend u will never manage enterprise setups because your education and rhetorics sounds like shit.
@aarontheghoul666 this seanbck310 talks crap, let him tell the operators of all those data centers that he don't care about SAS and how fast drives are, bet they spit in his face, let the kid play with his fake raid and cheapest ass unreliable SATA drives he bought second hand from ebay.
@aarontheghoul666 Great A grade education this fella has, bet the kiddo still runs a P3 with PATA drives that explains why he doesn't give a rats ass about how fast drives are, and never heard of SAS, he's still in the Small Computer System Interface 1 era...
@ViperTr99 the pointer only goes to 100 (10x10), the value is at 4800, so it will stick at max. In the end you see that they have changed the multiplier to x1000.
@GMSamuelRhine Depends on which tape and which device you are using, don't know the exact speed though. I think I once saw one with 300 GB/s. Could be 3GB/s or 30GB/s too, but I'm sure it was in GB/s, and not MB/s, Mb/s or Gb/s.
@MrVijfhoek if u can get that i bet those hard drivers run faster then a ssd but they prob pul a unreasonable amount of power and require alot cooling
i only saw 5.23gb just saying did i miss it

Bare-metal server recovery in seconds, nice.... sucks that most network transfer speeds are limited to 10Gbps... XD
So for this you would need at least a port/fibrechannel (LACP trunk) of 5x 10Gbps links :)
