I loved what this pedal is capable of doing almost like all other Pigtronix products but it's a bit complicated for me to understand how to use it. It would be great if you could have done another video with the Philosopher King where someone would show us the effect created by manipulating each knob :^(
What an amazing tone! I have a question. The overdriven sound is obtained only with the Philosopher King, or are you using a Crunch channel in the amp?
I have one already. Awesome unit. Hope to see some vids on the CVs and trigger. I'm a big fan of Moog too, which was in the background. Control the Moog w/a Pig!
This video is amazing. The Philosopher King pedal is essential to have as a tool in the studio and live. Great sound and lots of control over shaping your tone.
Impressive effect box

You guys need to do a video where you use the Philosopher King and the Mothership at the same time!
95shredder 1 year ago
I saw that the Mothership synthesizer pedal (the purple and green one) was on in the background. Is that in the signal path?

@alefenili The PK has a built in Grit control, so it's the distortion on the pedal not the amp.

I made that Firebird (Fenderbird) with the help of Matt Brewster at 30th Street Guitars.
Handmade mahogany body trans red
USACG maple / rosewood V shape neck
Stetsbar Pro II tremolo
Duncan Seth Lover - neck
Duncan SM-1 - middle
Duncan SM-2 - bridge (bad ass)

Pigtronix pedals are amazing !
What is this firebird you use in this video ? It doesn't look like the Gibson.

Dave, you're a genius. This is such an incredible piece of machinery and my most-beloved pedal. Don't know what I'd do without it. Thanks!

Hendrix...Are You Experienced

What is the tune he's playing between 5:41 and 5:59?
dadocta27 1 year ago
@dadocta27
It's not Are You Experienced, its "Third Stone From the Sun", but Hendrix it sure was.
