It's not a fake, I can do it on my DS Lite. However, even though I'm using English, all I get is blanks and no messages, at least that's how it is in Pokémon SoulSilver. Does anyone know what this is for? Some debugging tool used by Nintendo?

If you notice, there's a square thing that appears on the corner on the screen. Now, if you press the A button, no such thing appear, and the loading animation doesn't turn green.
