it's a promotional scheme. by using only half the song for the video, they could make the listeners want the whole song. it could also be for cost effective purposes.

the same was done for other summer suffle groups, expect after 2005 i think, for the Salt5, 7Air and 11Water songs. These used the entire songs for the videos.
