dont get me wrong, I love jungle dnb and the other filth that is out there...but I really cant grasp why listening to something this repetitive is good. Maybe if I understood or learnt some big point about the genre then I could understand the heritage and appreciate or something...aka ...am i missing something here?!
@c0rnf1ake There's a lot more (and better) music out there that's much MORE repetitve than this - it's all about grooves/hooks - one may appeal to you more than another. Repetition works (if it aint broke, don't fix it etc) & has been used all throughout music from the earliest classical compositions to modern dance music. I'm confused by your comment though - if you like D&B/jungle, then I'm surprised you've an issue with repetition, as the genre/s survive or are mainly based on it.
@VYD239 ..I like DnB where the mood of the song changes though and something happens...like a nice drop. I dont know, like not only do I feel like I cant dance to the erratic beats here but the repetitive nature which has little emotional change would make me lose the urge to dance. I think just this song in particular didn't do it for me :)
@c0rnf1ake Cool, it's got potential but so many huge amen tunes have gone before, that you have to have something remarkable to shine and properly move people
man the quick filter bits on this track are just perfect, especially on the crash!!! straight jah jah weight line as well! you got to ask the warriorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
