Love this, a song about growing up in Geordieland in the 50s. Very gutsy and raw compared to all the other swirly pop other bands were doing in 1967. WWII cut-up footage rather ahead of its time, must of taken a while to edit with a splicing machine, no digital edit programs then!
if you look around ond youtube you'll find the colour/b+w mix version of this video there's a story behind this the bbc tv film dept had put this together weather thats ture or not, i ain't a clue but it did apear on a late 80's bbc 2 doc on how film and video shaped the music biz, cant remember the name but went on for a few hours though.
One of the great rock-n-roll voices of all time. Check out Eric Burdons videos throught the years. He really kept with the times and trends. Even took a shot at a new-wave sound around 1980 with the song "The Night".

I ♥ Eric Burden. He's sooo cute and his voice is brilliant. Great song. Very intense, badass, and cool like the rest of The Animals songs :)
i love the beginning though with the beatles voices! xD
-I'm ringo i play the drums
-I'm Paul and i play the...uh..bass
-I'm George and I play the guitar
-I'm John and i also play the guitar...sometimes i play the fool
xD lol i love that.

When I was young, I named my son Eric after E.B. And now my son is 42 and I am 62. But this music still reminds of when I was young.
