For the people that are able to buy what you want dont walk in a dealership asking for invoice minus rebate and holdback and expect to get good customer service or have the salesman say ok,,you got a dealThose days are overespecially if the big three fold.
Advice for car buyers, do ur research b-4 stepping in a dealership.yes. But you need to research yourself as well..not just the dealer or inventory. If you are a 490 beacon with 2 repos and a $1500 a mth income dont go to a dealer looking for a 30k car when you can barely qualify for a 10K car..ya know. Dont get your feelings hurt and bash dealers for UR inability to purchase..after all it wasnt the dealers fault that you messed up your credit
Thank you for the comments txdealer123. I am in agreement with you about the customer "researching themselves". I have customers that only take home $1500 a month with $800 being paid out for bills and they still come in and try to buy a $30k car. Then they get angry and call us names when we tell them what the payment will be. When we try to show them a car that falls within their budget of $250 to $300 a month, they turn their noses up.
Thanks for the comments. My best advice for car shoppers is before they set foot on any car lot, do their research. Find a reputable dealership and a reputable car salesperson to help you BEFORE you go out. That way you shouldn't have to record everything. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Do you mind if I include them in my next book as long as you are given credit?
