Hey bud... I had to uninstall Lion due to it being the worst release ever... You do not need to backup the install cause they Hi-Jack your Hard Drive and create a recovery partition to install Lion fresh. THe issue though is try to Hold the Option key to boot from the CD... They lock you out. I found a way to erase my HD to remove that Hi Jacked partition but Lion is the worst release ever. I re-installed SL now things are back to normal Uggg...

The USB costs 70$ probably because you normally have to buy snow leopard before you can get lion so if you get a USB it lets you skip snow leopard and straight to lion.

Each System is what 30$ each? So 10$ for the what 4gb USB? It all makes sense.

Finally got around to installing via USB and one problem I ran into was a step skipped here. Don't know if it's a universal problem tough. On the 1:18 screen, beneath the volume scheme section, you have to select option and on the window that pops us choose the first option. I believe it's called GUID Partition Table. Then do the rest as he said. I didn't do it the first time and the installer stopped me as a result, so I had to redo the whole thing with that step included. Did Leopard to Lion.
